Married in Her Name

Married in Her Name

But his next words are for her as much as for the room. “Any verification request issued from now on is treated as hostile until proven otherwise.” Elaine nods. “Understood.” Julian studies the fragment. “If Patricia’s phrases appear in verification guidance, not only correction declarations, then she helped design more than the outcome. She helped design the doorway.” Daniel’s eyes sharpen. “Find the guidance.” “I am searching,” Elaine says. Tyler sends one more line. Ask why verification always came before correction, not after. The study stills. Elaine repeats it softly. “Before correction.”

Their Regret: I'm Not Your Luna Anymore

Their Regret: I'm Not Your Luna Anymore

' Verity exclaimed as the play was still on going. Vera watched intently because the second chance mate of the Luna in the play hurt her mistakenly, thus creating a complicated misunderstanding. Grumpy grandpa was on his knees right now as he resolved to clear the misunderstanding. 'I don't know why but my mind is picturing Alpha Rhayghar in the second chance mate's place.' Verity sighed as Vera's eyes popped out. 'Why did you even get that thought, Verity. Rhayghar was a good fúck but—'

Never Forgive You, My Ex-Husband

Never Forgive You, My Ex-Husband

So I double down. I slip into Veronica’s office while she’s out. The safe is coded, but the files on her desk aren’t. I take photos of anything with Hannah’s name, anything that looks like it could bruise. Letters from charities she used to support. Notes from society wives who “express concern.” Half-formed drafts of speeches about grace and forgiveness. All of it can be bent, twisted. When Veronica catches me, I already have my excuse ready: “I was looking for reassurance. Don’t you care what she’s doing to him?”

Shifted Fate

Shifted Fate

Garith just turned back to Rowan. “Now…what are we going to do with you?” Verity smirked as she slid into Rowan’s lap. “There now…doesn’t that feel better? You could have had me, you know…if you had just played ball, we could have kept you alive.” She patted his cheek, ignoring his growl. “You are so big and strong, aren’t ya?” She laughed as she stood and then swung. Her slap echoed throughout the makeshift room. “Verity, that’s enough.”

I liked the story very much as it has its uniqueness in it.. Author is talented.. It was a rollercoaster of emotions within also with a lots of twists and turns.. But there are a lots of loosends that needed closures.. However, I guess that's gonna be covered in the next book.. Definitely good read!

I love the story. So many new & unique ways she has made this lycan/wolf/witch universe has me captivated tbh. I'm a long-time reader & tired of seeing the same thing. the characters are funny. The way she addresses loss, recovery, and acceptance was touching. can't wait for more from this author ...

Valera's Payback

Valera's Payback

Soft, warm light. Delicious food on the table. And her special drink. No one else was there. Only Valera, me, and my pet cat, Vee. “Thank you for inviting me, Luna,” she said. “I never expected this.” I smiled and pushed the drink toward her. “You deserve it, Valera. You’ve worked so hard.” She hesitated, then picked up the glass. Our fingers brushed. I watched closely. Just one sip. And the problem would be gone.

The Judge's Verdict

The Judge's Verdict

evasive eyes and continued, "A family that uses money to trample the law, buy people's loyalty, and falsify grades inevitably raises children who believe everything in this world—including other people's dignity and even their lives—can be bought and manipulated. "She doesn't lack a sense of right and wrong. You spoiled her rotten to the core." The courtroom buzzed with speculation. Why would I say something so shocking? Was there an even deeper secret hidden behind this case? I answered by playing another recording. The one I had secretly recorded when "Florence" came to my home and tried to bribe me. ... "Judge Hart, let's be frank. There's enough money here for you to live comfortably for

he snaps walking towards me. I shudder backward from the wrath in his eyes but he pulled me harshly by the arm towards him " you did this to hold me down, right ?" he snapped shaking me with every word. I tried pulling his hands off 'keyword tried' but it was useless anyway "you think you can get me to put a ring on your finger because you got pregnant " he says maliciously. I avert my eyes to the floor as his word dwells on me making me speechless and stunned.

Yeah, Totally About the Reward Card

Yeah, Totally About the Reward Card

"Yep. Divorcing you over a rewards card. Even a dime spent on you makes me gag." He blinked. "You hear yourself? Over money? You didn't even ask why I bought the vitamins. I didn't flip out about yours. Said I'd pay you back ten times—you still said no. Now this?" I didn't bother. Just turned, started packing. "Save it. Courthouse tomorrow." He followed me, still throwing lines. I slammed the bedroom door—caught his hand on the edge. "Raelyn! Just say it. Why? Why a divorce?"
