Princess of the Pack, Finding Her Mate

Princess of the Pack, Finding Her Mate

But guarding it was a shadowy figure, its eyes piercing through the gloom, locking onto us. "Welcome," it intoned, its voice echoing around the chamber. "You've come far, but the final test awaits. Prove your worth, and the relic is yours." Alex whispered to us, "We have to work together and combine our strengths. Only together can we overcome this last guardian." Determined to see our quest to its end, we prepared for the final confrontation, knowing that our fate, and perhaps the fate of all, hung in the balance. The guardian, composed of shadows and wisps of darkness, stood tall and imposing. It had the form of a massive wolf, its eyes a vibrant, otherworldly blue.

Guardian Dragon

Guardian Dragon

Both had raven black hair, almost appearing as if they were brothers. “Just let me go, I promise I won’t tell anyone about anything.” I pleaded. “Sorry, but we can’t let you leave. You are the Keeper of the Dragon Stone and Cyran is your mate and guardian. “Excuse me?” I blanched at them, unable to believe what I was hearing.

Moonlit Shadows

Moonlit Shadows

The Harbinger, realizing its imminent defeat, snarled, "You may thwart me today, but the void's embrace is infinite. I will return." Niamh, her eyes ablaze with determination, warned, "This is our realm, and we'll defend it against the shadows, no matter how many times they return." With a final surge of collective power, the guardians shattered the Harbinger's defenses. Light engulfed the entity, forcing it into a retreat, its malevolent echoes fading into the void. As the echoes settled, the guardians stood amidst the aftermath of their victory. The merged reality, once threatened by darkness, now pulsed with renewed vitality.

For the Love of a Guardian

For the Love of a Guardian

She follows, but looks back, making sure that we won’t be called back. When we’re far enough away, I turn and get into a defensive stance. “Show me what you’ve got.” She looks at me like I’m crazy. “You want me to hit you?” “I want you to try to hit me.” I clarify. “What about kicking? Can I kick you?” She asks, her smile turning devious. “As I said, you can try.” I give her a confident smirk. I don’t care how good she is, I’m a Guardian. She was right that there is no one that can defeat me, except possibly another Guardian. And the only other Guardian on the planet lives in another pack.

The Book of Mara

The Book of Mara

The whispers echoed through the clearing, and the figures just behind the milky white vail moved seductively. "Does anyone know who they are?" I asked in reverence. "They are guardians," Tohr explained. "They make it so only Draygons may pass. So that Draygonia will always be protected from an outsider who may seek our destruction." "Amazing," Gabby whispered, stepping closer to the portal. A loud monstrous scream shook the world from overhead. Haris had spotted us.

Alpha Duke's Goddess

Alpha Duke's Goddess

"The chosen Guardian is what all of us had been waiting for in a very long time! Finally, we would now be forgiven and have a chance to live freely again!" What is he talking about? And what's so special about being a Guardian? I don't even know what being a Guardian means! "I've heard about the Guardians once from my grandfather before," I looked at Beta Koby after hearing what he said. He was facing Duke while leaning on the wall. "He said that Guardians are meant to have the rogues be forgiven and regain their ability back that was taken from them after they become rogues, to whatever kind." So, there are others like me out there? Great! I can look for them and ask for help!

Beastbound

Beastbound

"Let's go. Never seen that kind of performance before." … When I arrived at the center, I realized my life had been dull until this moment. The center, like its name suggested, was filled with all kinds of beastfolk. Adorable rabbits, seductive foxes, imposing wolf-dogs, outgoing and cheerful puppies, and more. This was heaven. The beastfolk were performing on the stage with all they had, showing off their charm as best as they could. The performer with the highest votes would be crowned Best Beastfolk Star, and they'd be awarded with a handsome amount of prize money.

Queen Luna: Once Rejected, Now Ruthless

Queen Luna: Once Rejected, Now Ruthless

To shake her until she understood she could not leave me. And yet, beneath it all, the sickness of guilt festered. Because I knew the truth. I hadn’t protected her. I hadn’t stopped the council. I hadn’t— A roar ripped through the night, drowning my thoughts. The ground trembled. The trees shuddered. From the mist came a creature taller than the canopy itself, made of roots and bones, its eyes burning with green fire. A guardian spirit. Emerald swore under his breath. “We can’t fight that.”

Red Wolf's Guardian

Red Wolf's Guardian

Callan approached. “Elijah will be here within the next minute or so. There are warriors coming from the closest three packs, though I am not sure that they will add much in this fight.” Callan looked at Anders and I as he spoke. He hated vampires more than anyone I knew, but all that I saw over his face was uncertainty, and that worried me. Callan was the first guardian wolf and he had the best instincts of anyone that I knew. If he was uncertain, well, it was about to be a fuckin mess.

His Hidden Luna

His Hidden Luna

“We do not turn back. Not now, not ever. We are the bloodline of the Moon, and we walk together.” Kael’s hand found hers, their energies intertwining. Liam’s small presence amplified the bond, a tangible thread of light weaving them into a single force. The shadows hesitated, sensing the strength of their unity. The leader of the guardians, taller than the others, stepped forward. Its cloak parted, revealing a face that was both wolf and human, eyes glowing with the wisdom of centuries. “The trials ahead are not of strength, but of spirit. You will face your fears, your regrets, and your truths. Only if you endure will the sanctuary open its gates.”
