Mara Jade Books Novels & Stories

Azrael called a messenger in and asked her to tell the other seraphims to meet him in his office as soon as they can so that they can discuss an important thing about the Mystic Ring. "You may leave now, Lara, Damien. Shane must stay to tell us more about the land." "WHAT ARE you wearing, young lady?" Pride asked when he saw Mara wearing a black dress that is almost similar to the grim reaper's uniform. Mara gave him a quick glance and then went back to fixing her hair and crown. "A dress," She replied as if Pride was stupid enough to not see what she was wearing. "Of course, it is. How could I be so blind?" Pride retorted in sarcasm

~MARIE~ I haven't seen a fierce woman like Barbara. She’s more money hungry than I am. I’ve known her since she was a little girl and I can’t believe she’s grown up to become this cruel. Jade is surrounded by snakes. She’s lucky to have escaped. I wish luck had never shone on her. I want that money more than I want her to breathe.

As if there was not already a perpetual fear in the hues of her eyes, her expression had suddenly become more terrified than ever. "Oh no…" "What?" "Move!" Mara jumped out of her bed, pushing Matthias out of the way. She dropped down to her hands and knees and frantically scanned underneath the bed. "What are you doing?" Matthias pressed, but Mara did not answer. She let out a deep sigh of relief as she pulled from under her bed what appeared to be an old and tattered leather-bound book. "What is that? I've never seen that before." Matthias stepped forward and took the book from her hands. Mara looked as though she wanted to protest before lowering her head again in shame.

Amanda wiped her tears and stood up slowly. If she couldn't be Alpha Jake's love anymore, then maybe she could still uncover the truth. And that, at least, gave her a reason to keep going. Meanwhile, in another wing of the Moon Crest Pack mansion, Mara had already started blending in as one of the new maids. Her hair was tied in a neat bun, and her apron was spotless. She kept her head down, just like the others, and moved quickly from room to room, always looking busy. But her real goal wasn't cleaning-it was watching.

Freya paced the wrap around porch of her century old house like a caged panther as she fretted over where Jasper could be. Marcus claimed that he went for a final run before the sunrise, but saw nothing of him since. She worried that Jasper may have found out about her taking Marcus to her bed and had gone off to pout over the situation. This was something that she hadn’t considered when she impulsively acted upon her lust. Things were getting out of hand. It was far too dangerous to leave the scientist unattended. He’d already caused too much damage to the wolves’ safety. Alienating him by replacing him in her bed with Marcus might not be the wisest move.

The lady said typing away at the computer. Jade walked to the back wall, scanning the books, she found a book called ‘The Forgotten Sorrows.’ She planted herself on the floor and started to read into it. It didn’t detail too much into the whole history before the witch burnings, but when it started in on the witch burnings, it turned brutal.

Their love was a light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in a world that so desperately needed it. As for Isadora, their hybrid daughter, her future was bright and full of potential. Her story is yet to be told. TO BE CONTINUED Thank you for reading… Much Love :) BOOK 2 will be out next year, 2025

“Why don’t you walk with me? I will reveal the remaining details later.” “But, Jade...” “Mara can walk alongside her. She is good at babysitting.” “Hey!” Jade yelled. “Selena came as a chaperone, not as my babysitter,” Jade replied, casting a glance at Mara. “You’re too attractive to be his cousin. I will keep an eye on you.” “I’m going to the toilet.” Jade stated to Mara. She dashed as fast as she could towards a safe corner. She immediately called Trisha after pulling her phone from her pocket. “There’s a problem, and why aren’t any of you here?”

For a moment, we ate in peace, forks clattering as we dug into our salad. "You look pissed," I said, drinking my water from the glass. I felt Mari wince from the sound of my voice as it broke the silence. "And that's not a good look on you." That was a lie. Mari looked stunning everyday. She'll still be beautiful wearing a sack and a pair of clogs. But with the black jumpsuit she's wearing, she was fire. "Plans aren't going my way. If you were in my shoes, you'd be pissed as well. And for sure it won't be a good look on you, too," she retorted, jabbing a chicken from her salad.
