Solomon POV The journey to my brother’s realm was short, but the apprehension I felt was a never-ending feeling. I was worried. Things in the realm were changing. I was worried about First Dragon and his children. Soon, he would find out our biggest secret, one we hid from him to save him. I did not know how he would react and what that would entail. It's easier for adult dragons to fight the urge to shift, but it's way harder for dragons in transition.

As the realization that this massive dragon was most likely Murdok Rori grabbed onto the claw still holding her, and she opened her mouth to speak when the sound of Henry’s laughter pulled her attention away. The book was now floating above his hand and as he chanted Rori watched as translucent, almost glowing bones formed into an armor around him and Rori gasped. Henry pointed his hand toward the massive dragon and a zap of lightning shot from his palm straight into the shoulder of the dragon, causing Murdok to scream in pain, but he did not loosen his grasp on Rori. Henry fired a few more bolts that all hit Murdok and Rori couldn’t stand by and watch her stepfather kill the man that saved

Hello, everyone! This is XSkylar19. It has been a very interesting ride for me while writing Bane of the Dragons because (fun fact) this was my very first dragon genre. I know some of you probably disliked how everything turned out or how fastpaced everything happened but know that this was intentional as I couldn't drag the story on. Anyway, while this book becomes the first book for dragon genre, it certainly wasn't my first book in the fantasy genre.

"The grandfather of the current King himself wrote this. He had befriended a charmer and as he got to know more about them, he wrote it all down in this book." Dragon charmers. A name given to the race of people who could tame the dragons. I had never seen them or even a dragon before because they didn't live in this Kingdom. They were just outside it, behind the north-eastern border. Dragons had always been the focus of the late night stories my father used to tell me when I was little. I was so fascinated by them and people who could bend them to their will and even now wondering that I might have to approach them, my eagerness was above the roof.
