she muttered under her breath, thinking about how she had lost herself in the pages of the good book. "That's a magical book?" She couldn't deny the pull of "Lunaria" and the mystery it held. "I mean, it's a good read, but I did not think that it would cause us this much trouble! If it was magical as you say, maybe we can find answers from that book as well!" She picked up the book and flipped through the pages, searching for answers. But her brain couldn't comprehend what her eyes were reading. It's just all collapsing on her at the same time, making her unable to process things. "This is magical and real? But..."

Kathleen glances at me surreptitiously, “if you are planning to sneak that book out, don’t bother. No book can leave the premises without being detected. It’s some kind of weird magic thing here.” I look at the book. It’s got too many pages torn from it to be considered useful. “I had no such plan.” I get to my feet, returning the book to its rightful shelf. Kathleen just trails after me, and when she opens her mouth, I quickly say, “Let’s not discuss this.” On seeing the reluctance on her face, I say tightly, “Ever.” Fortunately, Kathleen just nods and smiles and follows me out of the room. However, there is a niggling sense of fear within me. Does she know?

I ask, completely confused. "The book. Hidden edges."

I pee a lot, and smelling and seeing things that are sensitive to my body makes me puke. "Liam, just leave the poor girl alone." Sydney stepped in and pressed those breasts of hers on Liam's arm. "Come on. The book is a room. So we are going to have loads of fun." Loads of fun, indeed. "Just give me a minute," Liam brushed Sydney off, making her pout. "Lily, are you okay?" I scoffed.

I had thought that it would burn me – taking a peek at the two women who were with me, they were back away from the fire, Leah patted the small flame that got on her pants, Lyv helping her put it out. I could still feel the heat, but what was odd was that the flames didn’t burn me. I lowered my hands slowly, looking at the book – now burning yet the pages were intact. My heart beat fast as I walked back to the podium. I blink, there was something new. I blinked again. I rubbed it, feeling the sting I had felt when Leah brought me to Neverwhere.

What puzzled him most was that it hadn't been there just minutes ago. How had it materialized? With a sense of intrigue, Liam reached for the book, carefully cradling it in his arms. 'This is odd.' he thought to himself as he glanced at the book.

Flipping to the back section, which dealt with magic other than spells, she was pleased to find she had opened to the exact page she was seeking—the beginning of a chapter about dreams. She wondered if it had been luck or magic that had guided her to this page. She closed the book and then carefully re-opened it to a spot she thought was much closer to the back. She was only mildly surprised when she found herself looking at the same page as a moment before. It was magic, all right. Somehow, the book was sensing what she wanted and neatly providing it for her. Wondering what else this amazing book could do, Leesa began to read.

But how could she even know the story if the book is not completed? "Maybe because she is the writer of the story", my subconscious mind called out. And of course, the idea was utterly bizarre, but then again this is exactly why it's called subconscious. A part of the brain which can never be realistic or logical. Sighing, I kept the book back in my bag and went over to the wildlife section. After finally screening the whole shelf for a few minutes, I finally got the one I was looking for. 'Wonders of The Wolf.' A chronological documentary on the lupus species.

“Or maybe, not.” Answering and adding her thoughts from the running wonders that the current void is asking towards her. She smiles as she is seeing the eyes, the souls, and hear the beating of this very book’s readers. Where they wonder if everything is true as in their world this world is nothing, but a fantasy. She smiles as she giggles and says.
