Just Got Lucky (BOOK 1)

Just Got Lucky (BOOK 1)

He keeps playing with my hair while he gave me back massages and I love how he makes sure I was feeling good and that I was taken care of. We got inside his wondrous black car and drove around the beautiful city of love. The Paris air was warm as it hits my cheeks and it sends a different form of warmth around me. Since he had visited Paris before, he became my tour guide and as usual, the paps were everywhere we went to, taking every single photo of our every move. It was annoying, at first, but as soon as I was enjoying Milo, it seemed as if they didn’t exist. Only if they don’t blatantly approach you and snap photos of you without asking for permission.

Her last name, His claim

Her last name, His claim

So while he sat in a boardroom being intimidatingly competent, I took myself on a solo tour of the city with a croissant in one hand and a badly folded map in the other, because I refused to be the kind of person who stared at their phone in Paris. I found a bookshop on a narrow street that seemed to exist outside of time entirely, the kind with books stacked floor to ceiling and a cat asleep on the counter and an elderly owner who spoke no English but somehow understood exactly what I was looking for anyway. I spent an hour there and left with ten books and zero regrets.

The CEO's Contractual Wife

The CEO's Contractual Wife

Everything felt slightly magical, enhanced by that particular Parisian je ne sais quoi that couldn't be replicated anywhere else. Galignani, when I found it, was everything a bookstore should be. Dark wood shelves reached toward high ceilings. The smell of old paper and ink filled the air. Books in French, English, and several other languages lined the walls. I lost myself browsing, picking up novels and memoirs and travel guides. An entire section dedicated to Paris architecture caught my attention. "Looking for anything specific?" A voice asked in English behind me. I turned to find a young man with kind eyes and a name tag that read "Philippe."

I am reading this book and the other book you are currently serialising. Both have exceptional storylines, excellent grammar and I am absolutely obsessed with reading them. My only disappointment is with this novel you are only updating every weeks with between 5-7 chapters which is no enough.

So sorry to hear the author is recovering from illness. Hope he will continue this story when he is able. This is one of the best books I have read in a long time. Praying for a speedy recovery for him!

SECRET LEGACY REVEALED

SECRET LEGACY REVEALED

the tourist commented. Dmitri smiled and replied with a nod, "Yes, it is. If you are looking for a quintessentially Parisian experience, then it is hard to outdo this Book Café which effortlessly bridges old and new," he answered. “You seem new here. How did you notice about this quiet place ?” he asked intrigued. "I read about it in the tourist guide," his companion replied. "It was one of the hotspots on the list, which seems to be a favourite hangout spot for some of the town's most respected luminaries, artists, and intellectuals for over a century."

Found (Book #8 in the Vampire Journals)

Found (Book #8 in the Vampire Journals)

She tore the box open. Inside this box were a dozen books. Most looked the same—typical bindings, mostly classics. But one book stood out immediately. It didn’t look anything like the others. It was thick, overstuffed and weathered, with leather binding. It looked as if it had been through a war. And it looked ancient.

Desired (Book #5 in the Vampire Journals)

Desired (Book #5 in the Vampire Journals)

Kyle felt satisfied that he had his full strength back already. Kyle saw that it was still night, and he relaxed. If he wanted to, he could fly through the night, head right for his target—but he wanted to savor his time. Paris in 1789 was a special place. It was still, he remembered, rife with prostitutes, alcoholics, gamblers, criminals. Despite the nice veneer and architecture, there lived an underbelly that was long and wide. He loved it. The town was his for the taking.

THE BILLIONAIRE'S REGRET: CHASING MY EX-WIFE

THE BILLIONAIRE'S REGRET: CHASING MY EX-WIFE

Geneveive Tessa Robert According to an online page I read, the Hotel New Grand is the best place to book a room whenever you come over to Paris for a family vacation. Mom had suggested we celebrate the holidays in another country, and according to the votes, France was the pick. So, on a bright Friday morning, everyone hopped into Dad’s friend's private plane, and the next day we arrived in Paris. I couldn’t sleep through the flight because of the kids, but my mom assured me it was fine. They were almost two anyway! I was still worried, so I read through the historical novel I brought along and buried myself in it until I slept off.

The Complex Art of Rosie

The Complex Art of Rosie

"Come on, now." They continued walking down the street until they got to an old bookstore. It was small and rustic, and old place that was hardly standing on its own now but it was Rosie's favourite in Paris. She could spend all day scanning the shelves or sitting outside on the little outdoor dining tables with a book in hand. Rosie sat down at one of the tables while Anthony walked across the street to get them some coffee. She opened a new book that had been propped underneath her arm, falling into whatever new universe this book would consume her into.
