The Book of Deceive

The Book of Deceive

Charlatans! The back room was large. He searched, until he found the book, he searched for. The book was massive, covered in a thick layer of dust. The cover was locked with a handle that was shaped like a figure with elongated arms, he forced the lock. Nothing happened, he wasn't losing hope. With one movement of his hand, he removed the layer of dust.

Chasing My Innocent Ex-wife Back

Chasing My Innocent Ex-wife Back

We visited obscure bookstores, made wishes in fountains, and did wine tastings in Saint-Émilion that left us giggling by the third glass. There were no grand declarations. No big promises. Just quiet days filled with wonder and nights so peaceful, it almost hurt to fall asleep. It was the kind of happiness that felt... earned. *** Packing to leave Paris was like trying to shove magic into a suitcase. And failing. I had bought far more than I anticipated—scarves, shoes, art books, vintage perfume bottles I couldn’t resist. I stood in the middle of my room, suitcase gaping open, and stared at the mess like it might pack itself out of pity.

Little Prince

Little Prince

You roll your eyes before flicking through the pages of the item. A handsome look flashes before your eyes but you're left unfazed as you read through their bio. You can't believe you've abandoned your mission on waking up the sleeping girl beside you and engage your anti-social self to this world of nonsense. "What am I even doing." You mutter to yourself in disbelief. There's this part of a page where it's flipped flat in half. Lisa probably wanted to read it later or something. And thus. Your interest's been caught by the alluring sticky web of curiosity.

One Night Stand With Mr. President

One Night Stand With Mr. President

He wasn’t looking at anyone in particular, just staring into his glass, fingers slowly turning it in place. Still, for now, the room was warm with laughter. -- I placed my fork down gently on the edge of my plate, wiping the corners of my mouth with my napkin. I leaned slightly forward, eyes narrowing playfully as I looked across the table at Serena, who was still giggling from Raymond’s embarrassing sprinkler story. “Serena,” I said, tilting my head. “So... tell me. What’s Paris like?” She blinked, surprised. “Oh. Uh, Paris?” She smiled. “It’s magical, really. A little chaotic, but in a good way. Full of history, energy… people who think their coffee is superior to everyone else’s.”

The Substitute Twin Bride

Paris muttered. “What do you mean, miss?” “I’m canceling the table,” Paris whispered to the waiter, slipping fifty dollars into the pocket of his vest. “I was never here.” Without waiting for a response, Paris turned and walked quickly—almost running—out of the café. She put her sunglasses back on, lowered her head, and slipped away before Matteo or Rose could turn toward the door.

FALLING FOR THE DANGEROUS BILLIONAIRE

FALLING FOR THE DANGEROUS BILLIONAIRE

I could see it without moving my feet. I had never been to Paris before. I had wanted to come since I was twelve years old and had found a picture book about it in the school library and had kept it past the return date because I wasn't ready to give it back. I was not going to let Dominic Ashford see that this mattered to me. I kept my face neutral and moved further into the room.

I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis

I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis

Still, I’d run it by him first. The afternoon drifted by pleasantly. Paris lived up to its reputation as the gourmet capital of Europe. Fabrizio picked a restaurant with zero Michelin stars, and I still ended up going back for seconds. Okay, fine. Thirds. Plus two slices of cake. The mille-feuille alone could make a grown woman weep. Which explained why I asked Fabrizio to drop me off a few blocks from the hotel. That, of course, meant offering an awkward explanation for why I’d moved out of the lovely, work-adjacent house he’d set up for me and into a hotel.

As up to now the book would be 3 Stars. It is declining severely. Dragging with baby stories that don’t add up to the story just for adding characters and taking our money. Definitely stopping. Huge dissapointnent. Good until chapter 380

This author is one of the best writers I have ever read! I love her discripted writings. She has captured the scenes' and characters' feelings with flair and accuracy. I hope to read other books by this author.

Wet Confessions

Wet Confessions

Hart shrugged off his tweed jacket and loosened his tie, casual in a way that made her heart thrum. “I suppose we’ll have to wait it out.” Fallon sat across from him, legs crossed tightly as the firelight danced shadows across the Persian rug. She shouldn’t have noticed the way his gaze flicked down to her thighs. She shouldn’t have noticed the row of books tucked behind the encyclopedias leather bound, aged spines, titles in French. Erotica. Hart followed her gaze. Said nothing. But when she rose to touch the spines, tracing one book titled La Petite Mort, he spoke low and commanding.

Puzzled Hearts (Book 3 of Precious Series)

Puzzled Hearts (Book 3 of Precious Series)

Skeptical Eliza may be but not wanting to be rude, she met up with Mirella at a cafe in the mall near her office. It wasn’t Mirella she saw there, however, but a European-looking guy quite as tall as her employers’ sons but not as well-built. She wasn’t sure who he was so she sat a bit further away. The guy approached her, nonetheless.
