Her tone was serious. I nodded. With the motivation of cookies and muffins, I hovered my hand over the cards. I did not rush it even though my tummy was aching for the promised muffins. The things I do for food. I picked one and without flipping it over I placed it aside. I did the same with three others. When she saw I was done she put the others into a deck and placed them on the side. She then flipped the first card I picked out. It was upright, facing me. The lovers , it was written in bold cursive black letters. Kogo was silent for a moment as she stared at her card.

He knew what it was—the insignia of Beocraft. Kevin ambled across the room, browsing through the books on the shelf. Most of the titles and pictures in the books were disturbing. His eyes were drawn to the title of a particular book. Torture technique. The cover page had a disturbing image of a blood-soaked heart being pulled out of a man’s chest by what appeared to be a surgeon. An intense feeling of revulsion grew within him as he stared. Then he noticed a little study table beside the shelf; a lamp and a book sat on top.

Kaitlyn heard a clicking sound on her ears, from the earrings that Frank insisted her to use sounded with Jello's voice on it. "These room is full of books." She replied. "Good! now look at the inscription printed in the card." She heard him saying. " Oh I get it now it is the old card catalog!" Kaitlyn exclaimed she easily found the book that was identified in the card that she got from the drawer but what amazes her more is the content of the book. On the outside was a hardbound cover but the inside was totally hollow and a box was in place and the contents varies from maps, disks, flashdrive and written notes and vials wrap in carefully.

I'll make it up to you tonight, alright? He leaned in, breath warm, too close. I slapped him. "I said I want a divorce. Not playing." The room shifted. His eyes? Fire. But he dialed it back, voice soft like he was trying to play nice. "So it's not that, or that... What, then? You're not actually leaving me over a rewards card, right? Just 'cause you had to reload it?" I looked him dead in the eye. "Yep. Divorcing you over a rewards card. Even a dime spent on you makes me gag."

“I’d like to borrow this one.” I glanced at the title he was clutching, unable to hide a small, knowing smile. The book was about incubi and succubi, an intriguing choice that seemed to reflect a growing curiosity within him. “Of course,” I replied smoothly. “Let me prepare your library card and don’t forget to register your name there on the computer.” He nodded and started typing his details. I then took out a small index card, carefully filling in the details of the loan and noting the return date before giving it to him.

She fidgeted in her seat, her eyes darting anxiously to the entrance each time someone walked in, her heart leaping with false hope again and again. Until finally—A man in a tailored business suit entered. “I’m sorry for the delay,” he said, approaching the officers. “The boss is currently in a meeting. I was sent as his representative.” Belle looked up. Her heart sank. It wasn’t him. “This is the CEO’s black card,” the manager explained eagerly, showing it to the man. “We recognize it anywhere. Only a few people in the country own one. Yet today, it was used by… her.” His tone carried thinly veiled disdain.

Kennedy POV. The weather was bad, but I needed to get that new book, it's Robert birthday gift, who'd knew a grown up man would kill for the newest werewolf love book. I got into my car, drove carefully toward the local book store, they had the new book reserved for me. It was supposed to one quick drive, until I walked into the library. A girl was sitting on a bean bag, her blond hair was covering her eyes with overgrown bangs, she tried to huff them away from her face but to no use. She looked young, maybe she's just here with her parents, looking down at the book she had in her hands it was a kids story. Does she read for the local kids? Or is it just for her?
