Arya couldn’t believe that Eileen had talked to her like that, she had called Brad a dastard and her an ego oriented idiot and then spouted some nonsense about danger and safety. Arya didn’t remember Eileen and her disagreeing over something before. Eileen never had an opinion concerning issues. She always went along with whatever she said or did or better still, she was wrong. Eileen always had an opinion and for reasons known to her kept silent and agreed with hers instead.

This type of person could easily manipulate others’ thoughts and feelings if not handled from the beginning. Earlier, when Eileen first came into the faculty room with Mr. Thompson, they found her sweet and amiable character very pleasing to the eye. But it was also true that one should not judge a book by its cover. In the end, this demure, sweet looking miss was revealed to be a liar. They had all believed her to be Francis Hunt’s daughter, and Evely Hunt’s twin sister. After all, her face was more similar to Francis than Evely.

Eileen felt extremely uneasy. She kept staring at the stairway, hoping that Luke would appear. Three minutes, five minutes, fifteen minutes passed... Luke didn’t appear. Eileen's gaze became dull, and she could no longer bear to hear others talking about her. She wanted to go to the bathroom and get some air. A woman also got up and followed her. The woman looked as arrogant as a peacock that spread its tail.

Robin bragged. “Ah really?” Eileen remarked as an evil smile spread across her lips. “So if I break into a house and steal a painting he can help me get away with burglary?” “Oh God not the painting again” Benjy cried. “You thought I was going to let it go? Benjy you should know me” Eileen laughed. “I like you miss Aikens, there’s nothing more sexy than a woman who goes after what she wants” Robin complimented her and she instantly felt flattered. She smiled sheepishly.

The more I thought about it, the more possible it felt. I found Eileen behind the old practice hall sometime after midnight. She stood alone inside the clearing partially shifted into wolf form while attacking a wooden training post repeatedly. Her claws ripped through the wood with brutal force before she finally noticed me approaching. Immediately, she shifted back fully. “Well,” Eileen said while brushing loose hair away from her face, “you look emotionally unstable.” I stared at her flatly. “That’s rude.” “It’s accurate.” I walked closer slowly before stopping directly in front of her. Eileen frowned slightly. “What happened?”

At that very second, Eileen felt her heart break, wishing with all her might that her mother were alive or present, so she could throw herself into her embrace away from the cruelty of the world. The hours passed heavy, bleak, and drawn-out, as if they had no end. Eileen remained in her place, resisting the chill of the pavement that had begun to seep into her burning, feverish body, watching the movement of the passersby in utter distraction. She spent every ounce of energy she possessed to quiet her tears and soothe the terror of her breathing, waiting bitterly for the hands of the clock to crawl toward sunset, finally announcing the end of the company's official working hours.

"All right. Agreed." We began to play. At first, I felt confident. I took one of his pawns quickly. "Question time," I announced. "Tell me about Lady Eileen. What is her relationship with the council?" "Straight to the point. I like that." He leaned back in his chair. "Eileen is influential. More than you might think. She and Voss may be divorced, but they are still allies. She has connections throughout the council. And people listen to her."

She picked up many books individually and made a pile of them. "When will you read so many books?" Nina asked surprisingly. "When your boss is not around," Elaina winked and started looking for books again. She picked up books from famous authors like Jane Austin, Sarah, Colleen Hoover, and Anna Huang. Nina shook her head and made her way toward the exit.

She flipped through it several times but didn't find anything unusual. "I can't see anything special in it," Eileen frowned. "My dad did have a habit of taking notes, but it's all about artifact authentication and some records." "Alright," Amelia's eyes narrowed slightly. "Can I keep this notebook for a while? After all, it's your father's keepsake." Eileen nodded gently: "Of course. It's not much use in my hands, but I'm sure you'll make good use of it." Amelia took the notebook. She hadn't found anything in it yet, but maybe it would come in handy at some point in the future.
