When I got home, Tristan was in the kitchen cooking. He looked up when I walked in and smiled. “You’re back? The same hands that had killed my best friend were cooking for me.

The effect was so blazing; it was a lucky thing I was not on fire. Why my friend suddenly stopped, I did not know though. And strange enough, my friend was not ashamed even when it was obvious the man knew what she was doing and he found it to be amusing.
