How pitiful can he be? I corrected myself inwardly, "Wait a minute. I should be the pitiful one. I got dragged back here out of nowhere to be harvested for a kidney. I just wanted to farm in peace. I didn't ask to die with these two brothers!" With that thought, I angrily devoured two big lobsters. I still wanted more food after finishing those. I looked up and saw the whole family staring at me strangely. Oops! I ate too fast. They must have thought I was possessed by a starving ghost.

He could hear the insects chirping and the birds already singing, the wind howling as it beat against the nearby trees. 'Wait, it doesn't feel right. Why do I hear insects and birds? I should be in my bed' Baji thought subconsciously as he forced his eyes open immediately, but the light from the surrounding flooded his eyes and caused him to shut them again. 'Something doesn't feel right' He kept thinking, his brain slowly waking up again. He opened his eyes again and this time it had adjusted to the lights, so he was able to keep them open longer than before with no discomfort.

As she explained, my mind caught up with her, and a slow smile crept onto my face. I nodded. Again. And again. Like a damn fool, appreciating her intelligence. “Gosh,” I whispered to myself, running my hand through my hair. “This is brilliant. I didn’t even think of this.” I stared at her, marveling at how her mind worked. Not only was she beautiful, but she was also exceptionally intelligent. How had I not noticed this before? How had I spent so much time focusing on her stubbornness and arrogant attitude without recognizing her skills?

"Being smart is awesome but constantly being disturbed by people who couldn't solve their own questions before coming to me was a headache. I couldn't stand it." He gave me an amused smile. "They're not wrong in calling you a genius, are they?" "No, but I hate being given special treatment. Is it so hard to be treated like everybody else?" "Fair point. It's cool how you can study properly despite being depressed." I put down my pencil and looked at him. "Can't everyone do that?" "Nope. It even more fascinating how you can be absent minded but barely make any mistakes." He looked at my book before looking at me again. "Are you a robot?"

Once I reached home I had already prepared myself to open it but I had to savour the moment of having the first magic book in the world.

This was the end of the road for me, surely. Ross had outsmarted me and successfully carried out his plot to eliminate me. A part of me felt immense regret for the fact that I couldn't think more critically than I did. With Ross, it was like his brain ran at a very high frequency; before I could put words together, he'd written a whole book. I mutter. There is no use trying to hide thoughts from a quantum mega mind like his. He knows every thought, every atom, every blade of grass in this world.
