At her nod and blank expression, he popped the trunk and swiftly moved everything into the dark depths before closing it up and locking all the doors; not something one typically did in Pebble Point, but he wasn’t taking any chances. Aiden had enough to process without throwing everything to good odds, low as the crime rate may be. Plus there was that little voice nagging in the back of his head insisting that something wasn’t sitting quite right… whether it was the giant question mark of Bill’s death or TJ’s odd behavior, he couldn’t say, but there were many more questions than answers at the moment.
