Captive To The Boss’s Lust

Captive To The Boss’s Lust

“I didn’t prepare one because I don’t have any job experience. My name is Amber Chapman. I’m single, no kids. I’m a recent law graduate—here to apply for an internship.” An intern? Ugh. I hate dealing with interns. They’re always more trouble than they’re worth. I looked at her, this caramel-eyed woman, and spoke with a sharp, decisive tone. “I don’t need an intern. I need an assistant.” Her expression changed instantly. It was clear she wasn’t thrilled about the idea of being someone’s assistant.

Bully stepbrother

Bully stepbrother

I only have a basic photo up, trying to look as professional as possible, with a clear note that I'm an intern. After a beat, Reagan stands and crosses to her bookshelf. "I have a book I want you to read, and this is my journal." She pulls out two books. "I've kept notes on this profession from my own experience; it's about eight years' worth." She comes back over and hands them to me. "I'd like them back when you're done," she adds. "Thank you," I breathe, stunned by the kindness, but these books aren't why I'm here. "Reagan, I actually wanted to ask you something."

I loved this book, although Caden was such a jerk, after getting into it and realizing why his character was like that, it made a lot of sense. I'm so glad I came across this book, it's one I would read over and over again. Author, you did an overall excellent job, I hope to read more from you soon.

Caden makes me so angry. I genuinely hate him. Love the main character though. Very good writing, I wish our main character could find someone who doesn’t give in so easily or like if our main character could have pepper spray or something to stand up to him.

Flames Of OBSESSIVENESS Second Series

Flames Of OBSESSIVENESS Second Series

, Mohini replied to them honestly. "Oh! By the way, I have news to share with you", Roop said. "What is it?", Mohini asked them. "K & K CORPORATION is recruiting interns from second-year students in the semester holiday and our Principal is collecting students' profiles and their grades for making a report to send to the company", Cherry said excitedly. Seeing Mohini's neutral expression, Cherry frowned deeply and asked, "Aren't you excited?" "No!", Mohini answered truthfully to them. "But why? This internship can help you", Lisa asked her.

EX BOYFRIEND’S UNCLE CONTRACTED WIFE

EX BOYFRIEND’S UNCLE CONTRACTED WIFE

I mean, I always noticed eyes on me, but today it seemed like it was more than just eyes— they were soft whispers as I walked past too. “What’s going on?” I asked, unable to hide my discomfort. “Is it just me or all eyes are staring at me?” Mr. Dani scanned the hallway for a moment, before he finally spoke. “Can I let you in on a secret?” I nodded anxiously. “You are our very first intern in the history of this company…” “Things might be a bit unusual.” It took a while for the information to fully settle. When it finally did, Mr. Dani was at the door beckoning that I joined him.

Never Mine To Love

Never Mine To Love

A breeze pushed against the glass, moving the leaves outside. Then came the knock. Greene didn’t hesitate. “Come in.” The door opened. And someone stepped inside. Tall. Calm. Familiar in a way that made the air catch in my throat. Black hoodie over a button-down shirt. Hands in his pockets. Hair cleanly styled. Like nothing had changed. But everything had. My breath froze in my chest as he turned to face me. Professor Greene stood. “Professor Wellington, this is our new intern. He’ll be shadowing you for the rest of the semester.”

MARRYING A RUTHLESS BEAST

MARRYING A RUTHLESS BEAST

I get up from the couch, and my gaze darts on the thing lying on the armchair. It's Lance's notebook. Wondering if it's something important that he forgot to bring, I walk closer to it. I feel guilty for looking into other people's stuff, but there's something urgent kicking inside me. I take the book and flip through the pages. Then my eyes widen. It's all about the presentation to get into the internship. He's written the notes here and there. The important points, the conclusions and what he has to say to convince the company.

His Daring Secret

His Daring Secret

Now, on top of everything else, he expected me to prepare a fake presentation for the board of directors. I checked the time on my wrist. Cool, 7.5 hours if I don't stop for lunch. After opening the Alpha file, I immediately got to work. I sat at my desk, stuck to it with my coffee and a bag of trail mix I'd bought from the vending machine, as coworkers trickled out for lunch. Time was not on my side today, otherwise else I would have brought leftovers or gone out with the other interns to grab a bite to eat. I was working at Alvarado Media Empire as part of the MBA in- ternship program when I heard the exterior office door open and turned to see Vivian Taylor, who worked in accounting.

The Idiot Intern Catastrophe

The Idiot Intern Catastrophe

"You won't go? Fine. I quit. I won't go either. Whether the client calls the police or the project gets stalled–I don't care! If I'm going down, none of you are going to get away with it either!" I called the chairman, Richard Walters, and told him about my deregistered identity and intention of resigning. Richard came to the office in rage, forcing Edward and Jenny to apologize to the clients and explain everything. Richard did not want me to quit in such a rash manner, though. He gave me a month to think about it. In that month, Edward brought Jenny along to visit every client. Unsurprisingly, every client would text me about her. [What kind of unprofessional intern does your company hire?

The Intern Accused Me of Stealing, So I Took Everything

The Intern Accused Me of Stealing, So I Took Everything

Lia continued, her voice filled with vengeful glee, “from now on, all of your expense reports and off-site activities must be approved and signed by me, the new director. After all, the company needs someone to supervise your actions.” The new director? I almost laughed out loud. Promoting an intern with a few months of experience to a director-level position… Claude was really pulling out all the stops to replace me. “Fine.” I picked up a pen and signed my name at the bottom of the bill. “Done.” Lia was clearly surprised by my compliance. She paused for a second, then snatched the document with a smirk. “Good. It seems you know what’s good for you.” She scanned my office, her eyes lingering

They Replaced Me With an Intern, Now They’re Begging

Back then, everyone treated Floyd’s words as a joke. After all, Preston was just a junior at Stanford, busy with fraternity parties and sailing regattas, with zero interest in the law. And Floyd, though in his sixties, was healthy and full of energy. It looked like he had at least another decade of work in him. No one could have predicted that fate would rewrite everything on one rainy night. It was my fifth year with the firm. A phone call jolted me awake at three in the morning.
