Walking home with that book felt like stealing light from the sky.

I tap my chin, “Longer than I would like.” “And how much have you saved from all of those times?” “Hmm,” I nod, smirking at him. “Around 3.” “Hundred?” I shake my head, “Thousands.” Probably more than that but I didn’t want to surprise him that much. He only asked about the groceries. There was also the money I saved on clothes, furniture, and shoes, using the coupons I’ve accumulated over the years from newspapers and magazines I found lying in Ardere and other places.
