One Year with the Mafia Boss

One Year with the Mafia Boss

At least I will have plenty to keep me occupied for the next month. As I step out of the bookstore and into the crisp morning air, I consider my options. Maybe I should stop coming to the store altogether. I could always ask the guys to have the books delivered to my apartment. It would not hurt to spend a little extra money on something that brings me joy. After all, I have not been spending much lately. The thought of splurging on myself feels almost foreign, but I know I deserve it.

Teaching her a lesson

Teaching her a lesson

Recently, however, I had been avoiding her as she was selling those absurd $30 coupon books as a fundraiser for the volleyball team, and I had already made a donation. On Sunday, I agreed to buy another one without a second thought. It was surreal remembering our encounter now, how she had suggested, even jokingly, that I buy a second one. Another $30 is gone. When she laughed and said maybe a third would come in handy, I had already fished the money out of my wallet and held it over the fence before she declined to take it awkwardly. Even in hindsight later that night as I flipped through one of my two coupon books, there had been a lingering sense that a third one might have been useful. A

This book although taboo, brilliantly done. Original content and vividly described. Well paced. Thoroughly enjoyed and Im not even done with it yet. 30 chapters left. Def worth the read and def should be rated higher. Must be cuz of the subject matter though.

Really well-written, and very hot! It is so nice to read a book on one of these platforms without egregious spelling and grammatical errors! It lists this book as ongoing, but there haven’t been updates in a while. I would love more!

FORGIVE OR FURY

FORGIVE OR FURY

"Properties like that move fast, especially this time of year," she said brightly. "We could have offers in weeks." "Make it fast," I replied. "Cash buyers preferred." She didn't ask why. People selling family homes rarely wanted to talk about it. While the listing went live, I saved every penny from the bookstore. Skipped lunches, walked instead of taking cabs, bought only the essentials for the baby tiny onesies from thrift stores, a secondhand crib I'd paint soft yellow. My boss noticed my distraction, pulled me aside one afternoon.

A Life Without Gratitude

A Life Without Gratitude

The total is $180. In my first timeline, I would have put it all back. Would have felt guilty for spending money on something frivolous while my family had "needs." This time, I hand over my card without hesitation. "Taking up a new hobby?" the cashier asks, smiling. "Learning to live," I say. She looks confused but rings me up anyway. Next: bookstore. I buy six novels I've wanted to read. Not self-help. Not medical journals. Just stories. Just escape. Just pleasure.

Mom Gave Me Coupons To Survive School

Mom Gave Me Coupons To Survive School

No matter what I got, it wouldn't last me the rest of the month. I kept my eyes fixed on the screen until midnight. My hands were trembling from hunger. Suddenly, my phone slipped from my grip and fell to the floor. When I picked it up, a bright red page flashed on the screen. "Congratulations! You've won an 880,000-dollar coupon!" Thinking I was hallucinating, I looked at it again in disbelief. It was really an 880,000-dollar coupon. I got 880,000 dollars off after spending 890,000 dollars.

Finding You

Finding You

I don’t want anything to pop our bubble. Last week, I opened up a second bank account for savings and another one for just rent. With Emily bringing more of her stuff to Owen’s I wanted to make sure to put as much of it away as I could to just give myself some breathing room. I know I’ll be able to afford the apartment on my own, but I also wanted to try and save for a down payment on a condo or house. I don’t want to be paying rent forever. I am really trying hard to get this promotion at work. It would help me out so much.

Rejected By My Mate, Chosen By Fate

Rejected By My Mate, Chosen By Fate

She questioned, the hurt evident in her voice. "No dear, it's far from that. You should know that I will never want to hurt you. This is no ordinary book, it's a very special book and I've spent all the money I previously saved on this book." Hendrick revealed and Aurelia's frown deepened. "What?! Why would you do something like that? Are you crazy? How could you spend all the money we saved on a stupid book?" Aurelia questioned, evidently livid. And I felt slightly offended for her calling books stupid, books are awesome.

Her Eternal Prison

Her Eternal Prison

There, I immediately grabbed my book from the bookstore and paid with Jacques’ money. I had to get to the subway station to take the train to the bakery. But before that, I wanted to take a peek at the latest summer collection at B&G a few blocks away. I had frequented them for the last five months, and they often struck discounts for me with little haggling. The business was a little shady, but the clothes there were the most affordable. After all, having lost so much, what else could I lose?

The Demoness Alpha

The Demoness Alpha

It's just a long conversation. I go straight to notebooks when it comes to the bookstore. I bought some pens and other school supplies, too. Rose bought that too even though it wasn’t in her plan. I don’t buy a lot of supplies. Those are really all that is needed. Everything is on a budget. When I buy too much, I can't afford it. I'm sure Rose will lend me some money. But I don't want to rely on him forever. In fact, he has done a lot for me. I don't want to abuse a friend's kindness.

replied Jacob, “You can save some money to buy other stuff too, like a cellphone or a bag or books or food...” “I can buy books here?!” Dorin showed up holding several flyers. “Why, yes, there are several bookstores on the second floor, but I suggest you check out the library first, there are more things you might need to spend your money on...” “Oh, I want to buy some food for Seb...” Dorin cuts in, “Hey Johan, we can cook in the dorm if we have the ingredients, right?” “Of course, what you asking me for?”
