I Stole The Billionaire's Heart

I Stole The Billionaire's Heart

“Finding The Spouse You Married.” I would have laughed had my heart not randomly started aching for her. This beautiful woman, full of love and interesting stories and lessons to pass on, was reading some bullshit self-help book on how to make my dad treat her the way she wanted to be treated. It was sickening, and yet very telling of what my mother must’ve gone through with Dad. I wondered if she’d ever tried reading books to fix what had become so broken. “Want me to read you a page? The anecdotal stories are pretty funny.”

The Caged Bird

The Caged Bird

She said with a smile, but it did not look quite genuine. "Well, nice to meet you too." I remained politely as I did not want to get on the bad side of my in-laws. Although I did not want to get married, I did not even want to think about it, yet here she was, my mother-in-law. Reminding me about what was to come. "I see you are a nice young lady. You look neat, are polite and I see you are educated." She said as she was pointing at the book I was holding, which was a book by Popkin about historiography.

The Gap in Our Words

The Gap in Our Words

I lost a million-dollar order, and my company blamed me and let me go. I was so mad that I confronted my mother-in-law. She just cried and said, "I woke up early to clean the study for you. I didn't mean to do it! I'm old and useless, and nobody wants me around. What's the point of living?" When she started talking like that, my husband, Edwin Williams, would turn into the world's most devoted son.

Return of the CEO's Empress

Return of the CEO's Empress

“Meanwhile, you have a chat with Alexa.” Jonathan opened white the door leading to his mother’s room. The place was the cleanest it could get since his mother was such a clean freak. Several classic novels like Shakespeare, Jane Austen, and Leo Tolstoy decked on the vanished wooden shelves. Either his mother read books in her spare time or would knit sweaters for the Christmas season, as she did right now. His heart wedged painfully in his chest, looking at her again. She gained a few pounds as she tended to comfort foods to deviate from her stress. Unlike his wife would eat nothing when something worried her.

At 59, I Birth My Revenge

At 59, I Birth My Revenge

Seething with rage, I snapped in a trembling voice, "Are you an idiot? How can you be so flippant about your own health? You just gave birth! If you don't get enough rest, your body will be weakened for good. You might even end up with a chronic condition! "Why do you blindly follow everything your mother-in-law tells you? Can't you see that she's just trying to make you wait on the family like a maid?" "Mom! Can you not always assume the worst of people?" Lucy whipped her head up, her gaze resentful. "My mother-in-law means well! She says a woman can't be too spoiled and pampered. I need to work hard to support my family.

A Mother’s War

A Mother’s War

A few days later, Rose went back to see Miss Felicia. “My secretary said you wanted to see me again, what’s the problem? Felicia asked. “We were having a discussion a few days ago, before some man interrupted,” Rose said, eyeing her suspiciously. Felicia’s face hardened. “Miss Rose, please leave. This is not your business.” “It is my business,” Rose said firmly. “My son is a victim here, and I need a proper explanation.” “Look, I understand,” Rose said gently “I'm a single mother too. I've faced threats. But you cannot let them see you as weak.”

Mother-in-Law's Madness

Mother-in-Law's Madness

"That Zoe is so pitiful being treated like that." "That's because you didn't know what happened. She made Ethan raise another son's kid for 20-odd years. To make sure that the truth never came out, she even attempted to sell her own granddaughter. She deserved everything that happened to her." "What bad luck for the family to have someone like her in the family." "I know, right? I heard that their daughter-in-law is currently fighting for a divorce and even hired a lawyer." I heard all the discussions on my way back from work. They were right. I must have my divorce.

My Greedy Mother-in-law

My Greedy Mother-in-law

“Jonathan, I was wrong. I really know that now. Could you forgive me this time? “My mother’s old. She can’t handle any more stress. Besides, I already lost my job. If this keeps going, my family and I will be done for. “Could you speak up for me and my mother online? Jonathan, I’m begging you.” I was indifferent. “What does this have to do with me? You and your mother caused this trouble.” Amelia was upset with my indifferent treatment toward her. She stepped closer and anxiously said, “Jonathan, how could you say that? We’re supposed to spend our lives together.”

The Heiress' Return: Six Brothers at Her Beck and Call

"Some mother-in-law she is. Mr. Hendricks Senior must be so ashamed." "Remember how she used to complain about her daughter-in-law being lazy and living off her son? She had us all fooled." "She really did. What a fraud!"

A
I wouldn’t bother reading. The author has dragged this out and made the storyline almost unrecognizable from what it was portrayed. Instead of focusing on the lost child and the reunion with the family they have introduced stupid plots to drag the story on- and on- and on- and on!

the storyline is amazing. Love the FL. She is strong, fierce, righteous and so unaware. Landon is amazing, so supportive and heart warming tho feel sad for him he is unappreciated. I wish Fiona the best and hope she gets true love Owen never deserved her. Love grandpa Warren and Barron. It's amazing

Second Marriage to the Billionaire: Ex-Husband Begs Me Not to Go

Second Marriage to the Billionaire: Ex-Husband Begs Me Not to Go

“It’s been what, a few days since the wedding? And you’ve already got your wife crying and running home? Well done.” “About that…” Lilian forced a sheepish smile. Seeing Fifi start to tear up again, she quickly jumped in, “Fifi, I know I spoke harshly earlier. Don’t take it to heart, okay? Don’t be mad at me.” She let out a guilty sigh. “It’s my first time being a mother-in-law. I’ve never had to deal with a daughter-in-law before. I only know what it’s like to be one. My mother-in-law was really strict with me back then, so I probably haven’t figured out how to handle things properly. And... Mark’s my only son. Sometimes I get too involved, and I don’t realize how I’m coming across.”
