Rules and Roses
Eleanor was fond of reading books that were for Silas.
And I was fond of listening to her talk about those books.
The books that were for consorts differ from the books that were for Alphas. They had certain lessons and topics that we just didn’t have in our curriculum. From what I heard from Eleanor, their books were almost all about History, Politics, Governance, and Science. They had literature, but it wasn’t much. They don’t even have books on manners and etiquette. For us consorts, it was different. Our books and our lessons did have other subjects in them, but I could tell that it wasn’t that seriously taught. They were more focused on lessons that didn’t involve much thinking.
