As she approached the book, she saw the shinny title written on it, Lunaria, and she couldn't help but be intrigued. The library had nothing except a floor to ceiling bookshelf and a red magic circle glowing in the middle of the library right before the bookshelf. There were thousands of books and a few of them... less than a hundred were glowing blood red on the upper shelves, but none glowed on the partially empty lower shelves. Diana stood right at the center of the magic circle, peering at the glowing red books. I trudged to her. “Diana…” I held her shoulder. Her eyes were stretched wide as she scrutinized the bookshelf, as if she was in some trance. I peered at the bookshelf for some time, standing beside Diana, then let out a sigh.

I enjoyed the change of scenery. I acquired a book of simple spells that I had wanted to get for the Mage Library. The last copy got destroyed in a fight between a couple Mages. I also picked up a book on the Lucevkin dynasty that Queen Delia had been a part of as well as a book on the night sky. I had wanted to go star gazing but hadn’t had the chance due to my previous duties. Conor picked out several books of his own, but I hadn’t seen what they were about.
