A Night with Mr. Mafia

A Night with Mr. Mafia

Afterwards, they continued on through the festival, finding various dance and singing performances that caught their attention. The music that accompanied the dances was so captivating that it swept Olivia and Ivy away to a fantasy world. Together, they enjoyed the melodious voices of the singers, who sang songs full of hope, signaling a new beginning. The New Year's carnival festival was so lively that many rides were offered, including a bird's nest-shaped Ferris wheel that caught Olivia's attention. "Ivy, let's go up there," Olivia invited. "Ah, I don't like it. I like to get dizzy and drunk. Brother, let me buy drinks for both of us," Ivy said.

A Night at Wildwood

A Night at Wildwood

“Don’t listen! Don’t listen!” Lucas swung the camera toward the trees, catching only a blur of blackness between the trunks. “Probably a fox or something,” Vanessa said, though her voice lacked conviction. Emily’s heart hammered in her chest. She forced herself to stand, brushing dirt from her jeans. “We stick to the plan. Hike to the ruins at first light. Get footage. Take readings. We’re not staying longer than necessary.” Nobody argued. But as they settled down for the night, the forest pressed closer. The fire flickered low. Shadows stretched impossibly long, fingers of darkness that caressed the tents.

Spirits of the Night

Spirits of the Night

Scarlett nodded, feeling uncertainty grow inside her. The next morning, as everyone woke up and the sun barely lit the camp, Alex had already made a decision: he had to protect Scarlett no matter what. What happened the night before hadn’t been an accident. The gorgon who had almost drowned Scarlett was a princess of the lake, and although Alex still didn’t understand why she had attacked her, he knew there had to be a reason—and he had to find out. And that meant that, at last, he would have to tell Scarlett the truth about the supernatural world… and about who had attacked her the night before. Scarlett stepped out of her tent with Leslie, feeling the morning chill on her skin. At that ver

The CEO's Addiction To Love

The CEO's Addiction To Love

Zenios drove Charlotte to the mall parking lot. Fortunately, Charlotte’s car was still safely parked in the same parking spot. Zenios watched Charlotte drive out of the parking lot before leaving the mall reluctantly. It was already nine o’clock at night, and this nationally famous city that never slept was still glistening and shining as though it was daytime. There was a cinema not far from the mall. A romantic movie had just finished airing at the moment, and the couples who had just left the cinema were hugging and laughing by the side of the road.

Praying there will be another book written or something, I know people get busy and life can throw a lot of curveballs ….I hope that what ever reason it’s delayed that one day the author can get us updates. Or an assistant. I’ve been watching a couple books (this one and another and no news :( ...️...️)

this is a great read so far. however, I have been waiting for over a week for the other chapters to be uploaded. I saw them when I first started reading and they have disappeared. you run the risk of losing not only some of your audience but also funds. I have started reading another author's novel.

Fairy-Struck

Fairy-Struck

That's what happens when you let a fairy pick the club. I rethought my assessment as soon as I walked in the door. Although, I still wouldn't have named the place Monarch. Circus would have been more appropriate or maybe Cirque since there was a gilded, Old World meets Band of Gypsies décor going on. The room was narrow with two tangled balls of glowing tubes hanging from the ceiling. A slim length of sleek bar ran along the length of one side. Behind the bar was a glittering display of alcohol and above that was a burgundy wall decorated with autumnal swirls. To the right of the swirls was a round opening bordered with a gold frame. Within this hole, a female acrobat hung from a black hoop

he asked, hinting that he had agreed. "What about tomorrow night at seven? So that it won't be too late after we are done with the movie." Irene unlocked her phone to look for the closest cinema near the Woods' mansion. "Why don't we go here? There happens to be a movie showing at seven." Lucas took her phone and glanced at the screen. It was an action movie, and after checking the name of the film, he agreed. "This one, then! Can't you just tell me that secret of yours after twelve tonight? Do we have to wait until tomorrow night? What if something comes up on my side?"

One night with Mr. Lancaster

One night with Mr. Lancaster

With the blinds wide open, someone with a high-end camera might capture Matthew in his natural habitat. He paced the room, obviously lost in his own sea of thoughts. The woman was trying to introduce herself and even begged him to stop-----but he didn’t because he couldn’t. He couldn’t even recall her face, primarily because it was dark. He remembers her perfect silhouette against the soft light of the moon and her scent, lavender and berries. He was in heat and all logic and rationale was nonexistent last night. “Sir, are you alright?” “Silas, can you get me a copy of the CCTV footage from 10 to 5 AM?”

That Night At Room 412

That Night At Room 412

I ran until I couldn't run anymore, until I found myself standing in front of The Riverside Hotel three blocks away. The kind of place Damien and I couldn't afford but that businesspeople expensed without thinking about it. The lobby was all marble and gold accents. At the front desk, a young woman with perfect makeup smiled at me. "Can I help you?" "I need a room." My voice sounded distant. "Just for tonight." She didn't ask about luggage or why I looked like death. She just processed my credit card and handed me a key leading to Room 412. I made it inside, locked the door, and collapsed against it.

After One Night

After One Night

Jordan’s POV I starred at my screen for a couple of minutes before realizing what had actually just happened. So the person I had seen that day was John? I wasn’t hallucinating? He’s alive? But how? My mind raced with countless questions. Another text message came in. “Meet me at the public park at exactly 12am. Don’t text me. I’ll be the person doing the texting and I’ll be waiting for you.” It was 11:30pm and I couldn’t afford to lose this opportunity. If it was a scam, then I’d risk it. They’re just some certain things I need to know and only John can fill me in. I pulled up my trousers and stormed out of the bathroom.

A Night With Professor Elliott

A Night With Professor Elliott

Nancy's POV The club was bright and busy. Perfect place to get employed without anyone knowing, the music was loud and light barely showed the faces of people that filled the space, including me. It was an exclusive club, expensive, filled with men that had more money than morals. I told Nathaniel that I worked as a waitress outside campus. Although the lies made me feel guilty every time, but at least it kept him from asking questions I couldn't answer. I was almost done with my set on the side stage when the VIP section lit up. A private party filled with Elite clients. The kind of people that didn’t think before spending, sometimes, they wanted a show and other times, they wanted more.

Frequently Asked Questions

Whenever someone asks if 'The Night Circus' has been turned into a movie, I get this little excited and slightly frustrated twinge — because it feels like the perfect film and yet it hasn't officially landed on screen. As far as I can tell, there is no released feature film adaptation of 'The Night Circus'. Over the years the book's film rights have been optioned and re-optioned by various producers, and there have been development talks and hopeful announcements, but nothing has made it all the way to theaters.

Part of me thinks that's for the best: 'The Night Circus' is so atmospheric and nonlinear that squeezing it into a two-hour movie is a tall order. The prose is sensual and scene-driven, full of small, magical vignettes that build mood more than linear plot beats. That’s why many fans — myself included — keep imagining this as a limited series or a visually sumptuous streaming miniseries instead, where the pacing and world-building have room to breathe.

In the meantime, I follow the author's updates, fan forums, and entertainment news because I’ll never stop hoping some director with a serious love for visual spectacle will take a crack at it. If it does happen, I’ll be first in line to see it, popcorn in hand, wondering how they handled that particular clock and the black-and-white tents.
