His fingers ran along the books, and he noticed the entire collection was from the same author, Stephen King. They were all hardcover and looked to be in perfect condition. He wondered what kind of story those books told. Were they romantic or funny? It's been so long since he read a book. He slightly pulled back a book titled Needful Things before sighing and pushing it back into place.

I quickly head out to the next shelf. I don’t know how much time has passed, but I feel exhausted. Drake plops into one of the armchairs before the fireplace, yawning. “I covered thirty shelves, and there’s no book on celestial wolves. This is not a library. It's a book town!” He rests his chin on his arm. “It's so huge that I might find aliens hiding somewhere.” “Stop with the excuses. You are just incapable, that’s all,” Dory says while biting her thumbnail, her eyes trained on the book she’s holding.

For a moment, everything was dark—until suddenly Damon found himself in a different place. He was standing in a forest, but something was strange. He was surrounded by fire—like a ring. At first, he thought the fire would hurt him, but it didn’t. Instead, he stood comfortably inside the flames. Professor Steve stopped his incantation, forcing Damon to open his eyes. “What did you see?” For a moment, Damon was silent. Then he spoke. “I saw flames—a ring of fire surrounding me. The flames were touching my skin, but they didn’t burn me.”
