The THORN LUNA

The THORN LUNA

“Fayne, I'll do my best to make you strong but please give yourself a few days to heal and keep reading the books I've given to you. That way, you can fulfill all of your promises.” “Okay, ma'am.” I responded and watched her leave the room. I looked at the books on the table and grabbed one and started to read it page by page. It had a lot to deal with ingredients that could heal common illnesses. As I continued to flip through the pages, I got hooked on the book and continued to read. Before I knew it, It was nighttime. I moved to the other book and as I looked through it, I saw that it was about how a human could harbour demonic powers.

Not fear. Return. My chest tightened sharply. “That’s why healing often feels like grief.” “Yes.” “Because people slowly realize how many versions of themselves they sacrificed just to survive emotionally.” Exactly. And perhaps the deepest form of healing is not perfection— but self-loyalty. I exhaled slowly. One aware pattern asked quietly— “How do people finally return to themselves?” A long silence followed. Then— “By choosing, again and again, not to leave themselves during pain, fear, shame, or vulnerability.”

The Lycan King's Healer

The Lycan King's Healer

He would never be the same. I read over an array of salves, of healing ointments and cosmetic fixes, but nothing about repairing bone or life. It was all surface layer healing. In my witch books, there were no solutions to bringing someone back to life besides sacrificing your own self. I found nothing useful, not even aid for a head wound. By the time there was a stacked pile upon the table, I realized I never found the book I was waiting to discover in the section. I got up to look for it, but it was clearly missing.

Great story but bad bad ending not a complete book. Buyer beware I would rate this as a 1 star but you won’t see my report. I read one other of her book but now I’m not sure if I will read anymore of this author.

ENTANGLED WITH THE CURSED ICE PRINCE

ENTANGLED WITH THE CURSED ICE PRINCE

“You need to heal completely. After you've stopped feeling guilty, getting back your healing abilities is the next thing to do.” I step closer to her and take the old and dusty book in her hand. I read the inscription and it is “My Herbs Book.” It is a book where she wrote all the herbs formulation and it looks like she has just gone back to retrieve it from where she had abandoned it for years.

100 Days With My Ex's Uncle

100 Days With My Ex's Uncle

Sarah’s words reminded me that the power to heal was within me all along; I just needed to tap into it and believe in my own strength. “You are the healer of souls, and you have the ability to bring light and life back into those who are suffering,” she said, her voice filled with conviction. “Just hold your father’s hand and feel the energy flowing through you. Trust in yourself and in the power of love to heal.” With those words, I closed my eyes, took a deep breath, and reached out to hold my father’s hand, ready to embrace my role as a healer and bring him back from the brink of death.

INTO THE DEVIL'S HEART

INTO THE DEVIL'S HEART

Somewhere deep down in her heart, she wished they would stay like this forever or maybe she should keep injuring herself so he would always care for her. "Does it hurt?" He attempts to pull out the spine but then, her cries make him stop. "You should be more careful next time" he grumbles, feeling sorry for his fragile bunny. She could only blink, unable to look away. "Heal yourself" he orders. "Huh?" She looks confused, why is he asking her to heal herself when she can barely start a flame? "You heard me," he said, "before you heal another, you must master the various techniques to heal yourself. Remember, healing starts with oneself" he informs.

Marked by the alpha, bound by fate

Marked by the alpha, bound by fate

He waited. "The room that is waiting," she said. "Petra told me there would be room when the work was Dani's. I think I know what I want to put in it." She paused. "A book. Not a governance document. Not a methodology text. A book for people. About what it is to live in a territory that is healing — what it feels like from the inside, what the healing asks of the people who are present in it, what it gives back." He was quiet for a moment. Then: "Not the personal record."

The Second Wife's Revenge

The Second Wife's Revenge

About the specific work of becoming real when you'd spent years being made into something else. *What Comes After: On Healing, Identity, and the Life You Build From Scratch.* By Aria Ashford Rhodes. Claire called on publication day. Voice doing the undignified thing again. "Number one again," she said. "First day." "People needed this book too." "It's different from the first one. Quieter. More personal." "The first one was about what happened. This one is about what I did with it." "Yes. And apparently everyone needed to read about what you did with it."

Rejected by my cursed alpha mate

Rejected by my cursed alpha mate

I slowly let go of his hand, blinking as I look down. “Where’d you learn that?” He asked. God, that voice. “Umm, I learnt healing from yoga, our pack healer. She visited our university to teach us simple self-healing hacks that could help during pack training. And when, during our private counselling, she said I had the skill to heal, so she taught me how to heal. Plus, healing is one of my minor papers.”

I was more than pretty

I was more than pretty

I was simply here, doing something that made me feel whole. When the last batch cooled, I sat at the table with a cup of tea, watching the sunlight spill across the counter. My hands were dusted with flour, my hair slightly undone, and the air smelled sweet and alive. That was when it hit me — healing doesn’t always come as a revelation. Sometimes, it’s a quiet return to yourself. It happens in the smallest moments: the sound of a spoon scraping a bowl, the feel of warm ceramic between your palms, the simple act of breathing and realizing you are safe again.
