Suddenly, his ears turned a deep shade of red, and he quickly looked away, clearing his throat. Perplexed, I frowned. “What is it?” He handed the book back to me without meeting my gaze. “Nothing. Just... interesting choice.” Confused, I looked down at the book in my hands. My eyes widened in horror as I took in the image: a shirtless man with rippling muscles, a woman draped over him, their lips locked passionately. The bold title on the cover read: “Desire’s Embrace.” Instantly, I felt my face turn beet red. I’d purchased… a smut novel.

She lifts it to look at it then looks up at me. "Smut slut?" she asks. I chuckle a little and nod. "That's what's kind of embarrassing. The type of book it is. When we first showed up, we thought it was a fantasy war kind of book. Turns out, it's smut." I say. "What's smut?" she asks. "A uh... descriptive romance. Literary p**n. Cliterature, if you will." I say with a grin. I watch as she processes my words, her face going from scrunched and confused, to surprised until a wide smile splits across her face.

Sometimes, I might feel I don't like what I wrote, but when I see those comments I feel satisfied that you like it. And sometimes, I feel down and I want to quit the book, but those lovely comments revive me. I appreciate you once more. As I have said, some bonus chapter will be on my handle.
