The Midnight Club Murders

The Midnight Club Murders

Soledad did not stop herself from entering into the light. From above the shopfront, a decorative handwriting in baroque ornaments read Flavors of the Occult. Chimes rang as she entered the door and into tables of many shiny materials and splendid objects. Animal bones lined racks and bottles of liquid and powder sat on dusty shelves. Crystals of all raw shapes and colors shimmered in the warm lighting of fairy lights. Soledad had nothing to do but stare in enchantment. “What are these?” she whispered audibly. “May I help you, madam?” a rough voice from behind her said.

The Dual Claim

The Dual Claim

Amulets and talismans of multiple lengths hung from tiny hooks in the ceiling three levels above our heads; their facets glinting in the light coming through the windows. And I almost laughed out loud, because just beyond us, in the long hallway that led to rooms I’d yet to discover, were shelves lined with books. Sam didn’t exaggerate; there were books everywhere. Some were stacked horizontally as if waiting for a shelf of their own. Once my eyes registered all the wonders that surrounded me, they zeroed in on an orb resting on a pedestal in the middle of the foyer. I pulled my hand from Elara’s and stepped slowly toward it. It was bigger than the span of my fingers… I couldn’t cup it in my

SANTA BABY... I'M FINALLY HOME

SANTA BABY... I'M FINALLY HOME

God, those legs… Long, trim, encased in tall black boots. The sight of her round behind hugged by those skintight leggings almost made him groan… It made him hard as a rock. Elijah shoved his hands in his pockets. “These are cute.” She straightened, holding up one of the ornaments. “Perfect for your outside tree,” Meghan explained. “To give it that rustic look. If that’s what you’re going for?” Starlight turned the ornament in her hands, her expression assessing.

Game Over, Mr. CEO: Your Wife Is Done

Game Over, Mr. CEO: Your Wife Is Done

She had bought it the year she graduated, so there was no need to rush around looking for a place to stay. There really was not much to pack. Aside from the sleeping pills in the drawer, a few books she loved, and some changes of clothes, she did not want anything else. But when she stopped in front of her desk and saw the small white fox ornament sitting there, her eyes instantly reddened. The ornament looked old, its surface slightly yellowed with age. The fox’s ears, however, were smooth and polished, clearly worn down from being touched over and over. To be honest, it looked more like a chubby puppy than a fox.

loving the suspense, the drama. ML seems to be emotionally stunted and is extremely manipulative - I would love to hit him upside the head with an expired .... FL's growth is inspiring, hoping that she will stand firm at the end. waiting to see what author will do when she finds out about Richie ...

Between 2 Alpha's

Between 2 Alpha's

The curtains dangled nicely with lilies as the motif. Her hazel irises circled as she observed the place that felt unfamiliar to her. In the room, Hanna saw some fancy-looking antique ornaments mounted on the walls, such as a deer head and a wolf headdress made of wood. Hanna shuddered in horror at the wolf headdress and preferred not to look at it again. Her eyes also caught sight of a medium-sized makeup table that was filled with various kinds of makeup equipment. Next to the makeup table was a sizable bookshelf filled with a wide variety of books of different types and sizes. If only Hanna knew who the owner of this room was then she would ask permission to borrow the books on the shelf.

The Dragon Prince's Thief

The Dragon Prince's Thief

"Maybe Orna used some kind of magic to make you forget." "Maybe. But I remember the story now. I remember Orna telling me that new things start from destruction. She was obsessed with that book. It had a dark brown leather cover that looked like it was a dragon's skin. It was different than the normal books. She always carried it with her and sometimes she read it to me. Only to me," I said as I remembered the nights she read stories to me. I was besotted with Orna. She was my cool aunt. I loved her and I was sure she loved me. Maybe she never did. "I was small. I was around seven or eight. The same age as Lili when she started reading the book to me. It was interesting. She would tell the s

Vera and Mateo are my OTP. Books should have men like Mateo. No abuse, no Rejection and no weak characters that makes you want to stop. Every page is filled with flirty banters, sweet and steamy moments and mystery that unfolds throughout the book. This book shouldn't be missed. something different.

BULLIED BY THE ALPHA PRINCE

BULLIED BY THE ALPHA PRINCE

It's the only reason I'm going this far for a bracelet from him. He opens the door, turns on the lights, and moves to light the fireplace, warming the room. "I’ll be right back," he says before disappearing into another room. Left alone, curiosity draws me to the shelves adorned with minor sculptures and a stack of old, peculiar books tucked away in a corner. Their rare content suggests lengths gone to for their acquisition. There are no family pictures or any sign of a pet. Curiosity leads me to a book, and as I flip through the pages, a small bronze token with an intricate design falls out. Recognizing it the moment it catches the firelight, I'm intrigued.

This book is chefs kiss. This is one of the few books we’re the main female character isn’t a push over. She doesn’t always make the best decisions put she makes the tough one. The whole story line flows well and each character has a unique story behind them. I cannot wait when the book is completed
