The Misadventures of Anastasia Collins

The Misadventures of Anastasia Collins

He asked. "I read the book." She started. "Majority of the readers might not notice it but I did. When I finished it, I feel like something is off– like you know? like something is missing. It has so many plot holes. Many question are left unanswered. You felt that too on your 'Book Of Murder' right?" "Yeah." Eliot admitted. "Maybe that's the reason why I was transfered inside my own book. Because I felt so unsatisfied with my own work."

My secret obsession with a high king God.

My secret obsession with a high king God.

I watched as he brought it towards us. "You see if you would've never gave me that ripped paper I would've never been able to erase your mind again. Your minds protected now because of you reading a true page out of this book. Unfortunately for you I have a few things that will help me out." His wicked smile had me frozen. Every part of me realized my mistake. The book told me to never read it outloud but I assumed since everyone had this book that it was the same.

Secrets of Time

Secrets of Time

I'm almost at the end of the book that I found a while ago, I'm slowly getting bored as time passes by for it was only useless but what can I do? I need to find something and I can't just discard this book and find another clue without checking all the pages in it. I wasn't really reading it, I was just flipping it till I reached the three-fourth of it. I'm only reading the last and the first sentence to check something that is not connected in it and that is when the content suddenly changed and all of it seems to not be completed. The first ones are about predictions of the past people of what the future will be but this seems to just be added here by someone. I think this book has been ex

Accidental Bibliophiles

He asks and I chuckle. "This book is about a war between dragons and shit. It's not like a cook book or a knitting class." I say, chewing on some ice as I type up the description online. "Stop chewing on ice, you're gonna ruin your teeth." Jack barks through the phone, but I ignore him. "Yes or no? I'm sure Mrs. B would just give us the books. You're the one who was bitching that we need to try new things." I say and he groans a little, obviously annoyed by me.

DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH

DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH

* The Bound Preservation: This meant that the book would be sold directly to people who wanted to sell it without any computers getting in the way. * The Archival Anchor: This meant that the original copy of the book was safe in a vault so people would always know that it was real. Julian walked around the table. Looked over Elena's shoulder as she opened the book. "Look at this, " he said quietly, touching her shoulder. "There are no logos or ads. Just the. The person who wrote it." Elena turned the page. I watched as the light hit the paper. "This is how the book was meant to be read, " she said. "No tricks to make people keep reading a good story that took a long time to tell."

The Mafia’s Temporary Bride

The Mafia’s Temporary Bride

The bedazzled look on Alek’s face worsened. Giving up, she told him, “It’s something only a book lover will understand, okay?” “What other things will only a book lover understand?” “Hmm. Fancy bookmarks. Song playlists,” she said, listing it out on her fingers. She couldn’t remember all, but those were her favourites. “Ignoring your phone to read.” “Ignoring your phone? Why?” “When a book is so engrossing, you don’t want to leave it.” Her voice lowered. “If a book lover stops in the middle of a book to text you, know they are in love with you. “

Hello everyone! First and foremost, I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you for taking the time to read my book. Your support and feedback mean the world to me. I hope you found the story engaging and enjoyable. Writing this book has been a labor of love, and sharing it with readers like you is truly rewarding. As many of you have pointed out, the book does need some major editing. I am fully aware that there are areas that require reconstruction and a significant amount of repetition that needs to be addressed. These are essential steps to ensure that the narrative flows smoothly and keeps you captivated from beginning to end.

the book is good but could use a little bit more proof reading. some different phrases as well instead of saying the same things to each of the brothers. they have different personalities so it would have been nice for it to have been more personal with them. it was a good book none the less.

it's a good story but author need to focus more on math because is really bad. FL is ninthteen and was in school for eight years so she must go there when she was eleven, but author told us that big heart broken was when she was fifthteen what is four not eight years ago.

Married to the Billionaire

Married to the Billionaire

Books were the one thing that would ruin me to tears. Dallas hadn't come down yet, and from last night l, had figured that maybe he was still sleeping and he went to sleep late. The ending of his book shattered me to pieces, I wanted to rake Dallas's father's brain about the ending, about the characters' change into their newly formed intense rise into love. I couldn't stop thinking about the book, there was something about a book that could make you feel joy and sadness in the ending at the very same time, it was that lounging feeling like I was wasting my breath on life in general.

The Cursed Alpha And His Rejected Bride

The Cursed Alpha And His Rejected Bride

Some were so gentle they passed as blessings. Others were so corrosive they hollowed out entire families. I didn’t even hear him enter the room. The book was yanked from my hands so suddenly that I blinked, stunned, my fingers still curled like they were holding it. I looked up, breath caught in my throat. Edric stood above me, the book clenched in one hand, his eyes dark and furious. “You shouldn’t be reading this,” he said, voice low, strained. “You have no idea what this book can do.”

THE TYRANT'S BABY

THE TYRANT'S BABY

"I couldn't possibly sell it again since your name's engraved on the cover." Selene's eyes widened in shock. "Engraved??? Who would dare do that to such a good book?" she exclaimed, horrified at the thought of someone defacing her precious read. Before Clara could respond, a group of high school students walked toward the cashier, animatedly discussing something that made Selene's heart skip a beat. "Yes! I did finish reading it last night. Boy, was I crying my eyes out!" one girl laughed, her voice carrying through the bookstore. "Yeah, I just finished 'The Tyrant's Child' earlier this morning. I didn't even sleep, and the audacity of the author to kill my beloved Rosalind??" the other girl

Frequently Asked Questions

Booktok has definitely changed the way people approach reading, and not always for the better. I’ve noticed that many readers now prioritize books that are trending on the platform, often overlooking lesser-known gems that might be more meaningful or unique. The focus seems to be on aesthetics—pretty covers, dramatic quotes, and romantic tropes—rather than the depth of the story or the quality of the writing. This has led to a kind of homogenization in reading tastes, where everyone is reading the same handful of books. While it’s great that Booktok has brought more attention to reading, I worry that it’s creating a culture of instant gratification, where people are more interested in the social media buzz around a book than in actually engaging with the text. It’s also led to a lot of pressure to read quickly and keep up with trends, which can take the joy out of reading for those who prefer to take their time and savor a book.
