Bookworm Little.

Bookworm Little.

After the party last night, saying goodbye to Ella, I asked her out for lunch this time, it was my turn to ask her out, she said yes. We went to our home with a big wide smile plastered on my face, this was the best birthday ever, how did she even managed to find a little that likes reading and books. She even work in the book shop, see my love for stories did pay out, we found her, we still didn’t know how to ask her about being a little, or being our little to be exact. But we did agree on taking things slow with her, on letting her get used to us on her own terms and conditions.

48 Alex The phone in my hand felt like a block of lead, its faint glow casting an eerie light across the darkened room. My thumb hovered over the screen, trembling as I stared at the message for the third—no, fourth—time, hoping that somehow the words would change or that I’d wake up from this nightmare. "Luckily for you, that imbecile Liam took the bullet. You should’ve been dead by now. You’re lucky, but your luck won’t save you forever. I’ll strike again, and next time, nobody will help you. You’ll die, Alex."

Rebirth: Giving Them My Blessings

Rebirth: Giving Them My Blessings

A thousand dollars was a large sum of money during those days. My boss, Jerry Little, explained, "Business has been going great recently. It's your bonus." I happily accepted the extra cash upon hearing his words. When I finished my shift, I further rewarded myself by purchasing a fried chicken drumstick. When I stopped by the shop, I noticed that they were running a promotion where if one purchased one drumstick, the buyer would receive another three for free. Lady Luck must have been smiling down on me that day. However, the thought had barely finished forming in my mind when I realized that the customer who was behind me had only received one drumstick from the owner of the fried chicken

Getting Lucky

Getting Lucky

EMBER “Happy birthday to you,” Gracie said, raising her glass of champagne toward me. “I hope all your dreams come true this year.” “Thank you.” I smiled, clinking my glass against hers. We had completed our trek to New York and moved into our loft that week. It was all finally starting to feel real, and it was thrilling.

Shattered Bonds

Shattered Bonds

Afterward, I had introduced her to the fae creatures, who were waiting to hear of the birth of their new princess. After our coronation, Buppig had come to Lily and I, showing us the Book of Prophecies. The golden light that had surrounded the book for so long had faded to the iron look that had taken over the one corner after the trolls had been released from their earthen prison. On the day of my daughter’s birth, a new Book of Prophecies came into being. This one, bright gold and gleaming, a new set of prophecies writing themselves for my daughter.

I feel like Richie was ripped off in this book, he didn't do anything wrong and he was treated as though he did. if he led Gwen before his mate on or if she was an old fling I'd understand. I also didn't like how we got snippets of the other siblings love lives as if there won't be a book on them.

Another freaking amazing book (finished in a day) lol I love that your books aren’t unnecessarily long, dragging out the plot. I can’t wait to start on the next book in the series. Having the flu has its perks lol I get to read all day and not worry about my 9 to 5 lol amazing work Cooper!! ...️...️...️...️

2nd story in the "next generation" of The Guardian series. This one takes a more fantasy twist but totally works. I was enthralled all the way to the epilogues which had me crying yet again. This author updates regularly & always concludes her stories. No worries about abandoned books with her.

Eidolon Avenue: The First Feast

Eidolon Avenue: The First Feast

Then they’d watched, certain little Ruan, who’d christened herself Lucky— the Killer, Lucky the Devil— at the not-so-tender age of ten, would meet the same fate as the infamous Goddess: a life of struggle and sadness followed by an early exit at twenty-four. But why think about that now? she wondered as she ignored the ghost whispering from the shadows, another cigarette shoved between her lips, the phosphorous flame jumping as she struck the match. Lucky the Shadow, said the thing snarling from the corner.

The Day She Stopped Waiting

Fair. Apparently being a baby wasn't a valid excuse. Reasonable honestly. Several minutes later she disappeared. God. Then returned carrying an alphabet book. Fair. A very large alphabet book. Reasonable. The kind usually intended for children who could sit upright. God. Not babies who occasionally sneezed at random. Fair. Then Lily sat directly in front of Peanut. Reasonable. Opened the book. God. And school began. Fair. "A." Reasonable. Peanut stared. God.

10 chapters in and I hope it’s second chance book. I love a good “leaving my shitty husband for a better man” plot but sometimes I love a good “I need to get my wife back” plot as well. Sometimes I want to read about how a relationship was pulled back from the brink and I feel this is goi to be it.

Frequently Asked Questions

The book 'Get Lucky' was written by Katherine Center, and I have to say, her storytelling just hits different. I stumbled upon this novel while browsing for something uplifting, and the title caught my eye immediately. Center has this knack for weaving humor and heart into her characters, making them feel like friends you’ve known forever. 'Get Lucky' is no exception—it’s got this warm, feel-good vibe that’s perfect for anyone needing a pick-me-up. I love how she balances lighthearted moments with deeper themes, like family bonds and second chances. It’s one of those books you finish with a smile, then immediately want to recommend to everyone you know.

Katherine Center’s other works, like 'Things You Save in a Fire' and 'How to Walk Away,' have a similar charm, but 'Get Lucky' stands out for its quirky, small-town setting. The way she paints the dynamics between siblings and the chaos of unexpected life twists is just delightful. If you’re into contemporary fiction with a touch of romance and a lot of soul, her books are a must-read. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve lent my copy to friends—it’s that kind of story.
