The countenance of the king was one of contentment, yet it was not to be misconstrued as a sign of clemency. The nobles who had recently returned from their search to locate the remains of Emaline's father were well aware that the slightest provocation could incite the King's wrath and that no one would be exempt from its consequences. The entire court was in a state of obeisance, with heads bowed and knees bent before the regal figure seated upon his throne. A smile graced his countenance, seemingly oblivious to the presence of the nobles until Horacio addressed him.

In the evening all the guests start to come to the birthday banquet of King Alexander Knight. The atmosphere in the banquet hall was lively. Many officials, aristocratic families, a merchant families were present at the banquet. All the people were enjoying the banquet while some were trying to curry favour with the powerful one. After some time the guard at the entrance announces the arrival of the king and His Queen while listening to the guard all the people present in the banquet hall stand in their position according to the power and status they hold and bows their head.

Five, ten, twenty, fifty, a hundred… The King let out a loud curse from inside his head. And before he could even process what was happening, a huge blow from his back suddenly hit him. He knew that it was fatal as he felt his back getting wet. A loud growl suddenly escaped from the animal, trying to hide itself from the shadows of the forest. But even though the King couldn’t distinguish its scent, he tried to concentrate on the sound of its feet and body. And when he made another attack, he instantly dodged it. But he felt like his feet suddenly became deep-rooted on the ground as he saw the rogue standing before him – with the help of the light coming from the bright moon.

The sound cut through the music, and, little by little, conversations began to die out as gazes turned toward the entrance. A group of guards advanced with firm steps, and among them walked Rowan, bound and visibly beaten, but still standing tall, his dignity intact despite everything. One of the guards stepped forward and bowed with obvious pride before the king. "Your Majesty," he said, "we bring a wedding gift."

As I looked around, I noticed people wearing gold armour holding their weapons. "What's going on?" I whispered. Pulling away, William gently gripped the material of my jacket. Pulling it away from my stomach, I watched a smile form on his lips. Following his gaze I was shocked at what I saw. Where the deep wound once stood, was now just darkened flesh. The wound was gone. Looking up at the man and woman, I shook my head. "I don't understand." Moving towards me with an almost feather-like grace, the man bowed to me. "My name is King Arod, this is my Queen Meril." Gesturing to the woman behind him, I watched her curtsy to me.

And when his eyes landed on his chest, King Frederick's body tensed as he recognized it—the brooch, the same one Selene wore on her chest… He let go of Selene's hands and withdrew from her as if having her close was burning him. She was left confused and observed on the dance floor, while she watched the king move away as quickly as possible and go over to the queen mother, who frowned upon hearing what her son was saying.

Before I can get far, I hear another angry voice behind us. “What do you think that you’re doing, Raleigh?” I glance behind me. Alrich is standing toe to toe with Toby. The hostility coming from both of the boys confuses me. Instead of answering, I just climb a little higher. “Are you going to answer me?” He snaps. I shake my head but, before I can say anything, the King appears. “Let her be, young Sir.” He commands. I pause at his voice and look behind me. Toby and Alrich are both on their knees. The King looks up at me and smiles. I nod my head to him in respect and continue my climb.

"...I didn't know you had such a good shape!" I chuckled. "We're Hunters. We're supposed to be in good shape." "Ehhh?" she traced her curves. "How come I am not as curvaceous as you?" "Because," her twin chimed in, crossing his arms, "...you were slacking off!" I smiled. I can't believe these two are older than me. Then I saw him. The King in his royal blue vest, surrounded by women whose dresses bulged like cotton balls. He laughed with them until he saw us. I quickly bowed, as did the twins.

Jessica stepped backward, and Richard took four long strides to the front. "Your Majesty," they all bowed in unison as though they were soldiers trained to do that anytime they saw the king. "All rise," he ordered, and they lifted their heads, looking straight at him. "We are under attack; most areas of the Black Knight Pack are currently surrounded by an enemy pack. As I speak to you now, they are on their way to this mansion." Gasps of shock filled the atmosphere as the members of staff murmured amongst themselves. "Quiet!" the king commanded, and everywhere stilled with pin-drop silence.

Everyone bowed to me and I nodded back. A few minutes later, the presence of The king was announced and everyone stood up bowing to him and he sat comfortably on his Throne. "Start the Court proceedings," He said in the roaring voice and I felt something different in his voice, Anger. The army chief stood up and started saying "Your majesty, The dancer yesterday pulled out the sword and kept it right to the Prince's neck if we were not there or some other circumstances were there. she might have killed the Prince by now" He stated with a serious tone and everyone agreed by nodding their heads.
