Maxim was the sole leader of the Bratva and he had a final say in a lot of decisions in the Bratva. He asserted dominance over the other members of the Bratva. The Omerta alliance was to make sure rules were followed. Some of the rules included: no killing of mafia members over personal reasons, once you signed a contract with a member of the Alliance, there was no turning back, and most of all, if one betrayed the Bratva, the five families dealt with them accordingly. There were many other rules but those were the main ones. “You need to move into his house. The further you’re away from him, the higher the chances that he will forget you.” Father said to me.

I said, signaling to Ben, who was standing like a mute doll, Ben nodded his head and started looking for duct tape, "I don't understand why they (Rulebreakers) don't kill these bastards, every time they chop their lengths, and leave the culprits with the warning tone..." Brat said, wiping his hands with the towel, then he picked up the water bottle and started chugging the water. "two things can happen either they are kind or stupid..." Sam said, sitting in front of me, I sighed and turned my attention in the other direction, I was rubbing my fingers over my head when Brat interrupted me,

He looked up when he heard me approaching, one eyebrow raised in quiet surprise. "I'll do it," I blurted before I could lose my nerve, my voice steadier than I felt. He raised his brow in amusement, letting the last smoke curl into the air. "I'll accept the offer." I cleared my throat. "But I have one rule. No catching feelings. No strings attached." Ace took another slow drag, then flicked the cigarette away. A smirk tugged at the corner of his mouth, dark and knowing. "Crystal clear, sweetheart."

But beneath all the P*******t perfection a weird undercurrent of tension hums through the place. The kids are not normal. Not in a 'gifted child bites classmates' way. In a genuinely feral way. One little girl, Poe, hissed at me during story time. Actually hissed., tiny teeth out and everything. Jax, who also works here, acted like this was completely normal behavior. “We don't threaten Miss Frankie,” he told her seriously while peeling a banana one-handed. “Remember what we talked about. No violence before lunch.” The child narrowed her eyes at me and slowly ate a crayon.

It was their code and as barbaric as they can get, they never ever break this. Now in silence, they completed the rest of their nine rules. Each of them sat wherever they pleased and was in deep thought over their three individual rules. "Rule #3: The first one to spot target spends the entire day with her." Javier said. "Bullshit." the two others called. Now it was a rule that if 2/3rds of them did not like the rule made, it could be altered, if not, however, it would remain absolute. Javier chuckled,"What? You two should actually just go to school early."

Poppy stood on the footrest of her chair, one hand still holding her croissant, her face covered in crumbs, her green eyes wide with authority she had absolutely no right to possess but had clearly inherited from two very unfortunate bloodlines. “If you fight, you have to use rules!” I pulled my hand away from Sebastian. “We’re not fighting.” “You’re tug-tugging.” “What is tug-tugging?” “Pulling. It’s pre-fighting.” Sebastian finally lowered the phone. “What are the rules?” Poppy raised one finger. “Rule number one. No using injuries.” Sebastian nodded very seriously. “Reasonable.” “Rule number two. No taking phones without asking.” I pointed at Sebastian. “Thank you.”

Author's POV All men sat by the table, Garry and Noah were ready with the rules. All they wanted to do is, keep these two brothers alive. "We can't afford you two getting into quarrel and hurt yourselves or the girl... Meddling in each other's business can create big issues." Arthur was sitting there with mad face and Oliver was with hateful glare. But they both agreed for the rule thing because they know that limits are easy to cross when the prize is worth. "1st rule is obvious, no one will touch the girl until she is eighteen."

“I was born in this world...didn’t have much of a choice to decide whether or not.” Alina snickers with a sweet smile. “You talk like you’re already familiar with the bratva, Josephine. I blinked, unsure whether it was a statement or a challenge. Before I could reply, she continued. “But only sworn members can really speak about the Bratva. And you’re not one of us.” Katya looked elsewhere, avoiding my gaze of confusion that swept towards her direction. “You’re not the first girl that’s entered into Sasha’s world.” She shrugged. “They get scared, either end up dead or run for their lives...” she trails off, chuckling.

There were thirty rules, where about twenty of them were about Ryder and how he belonged to Chrissy. “What other supposed rule did I break?” Chrissy lifted a hand and stabbed a finger over rules 9 and 10. No talking or touching Ryder Dane. “Well, come to think of it. You broke three.” “You are literally the most unhinged person I’ve met.” And that was saying a lot, as I’ve dealt with my fair share of crazy. “And you really expect everyone to follow these dumb rules?”

Her jaw drops “What?” “Oh I’m not done” I snap back “You will follow our rules and laws, you will be given no benefits or helping hands, if you put a step out of line and I mean even a millimetre then you will be deranked and until you work back our trust you will stay that way, if I hear from anyone that you have been disrespecting me, drake, Matt, fiona, Ben, Cara, Colten or any of the other kids in public then you will also be punished”
