Kira's fingers trembled around it. "Let them chant," she whispered, her voice shaking now. "Let them scream her name." Her lips curled. "They'll forget." She raised the relic. The moment it caught the light— something snapped. It tore through the room like a shockwave. Kira screamed. A raw, broken sound as blood burst from her mouth, spilling down her chin, staining her dress. Her knees buckled. For a second—I thought she would collapse, end it right there. But she didn't.
