Chapter 38 As Alpha Nathan lay down, his eyes transfixed on the sky above, he saw the clouds gathering, dark and ominous. Mitchell POV The air tastes like burnt metal. Every breath scratches the back of my throat. I look up at the sky and see the clouds turning the colour of old bruises. Big purple waves of smoke are rolling over the trees. Lightning cracks across the black space above us. It does not look like regular rain. It looks like the sky is breaking in half.
