Contract Marriage to the CEO: My Wife is a Gold Digger

Contract Marriage to the CEO: My Wife is a Gold Digger

Delilah stayed quiet the entire ride, but she didn't smack my hand away when I put it on her lap. "Wait here," I said to Delilah and went inside the hotel to grab the room key, then came back to collect her. Delilah looked like she was in a daze as I held her hand and led her inside. She gasped as I suddenly picked her up in his arms. "Sebastian! What are you doing?" she exclaimed. Her cheeks turned red out of embarrassment as I carried her to the elevator in front of other guests and employees. "It's the tradition. Groom supposed to carry the bride to their hotel room," I chuckled.

My Best Friend’s Father Wants me

My Best Friend’s Father Wants me

Nathan: We got out of the car and I carried her bridal style to the building. She pouted and kissed my cheek. “You know that you don’t have to carry me. I can walk on my own.” I grinned. “It’s practice. I have to make sure that I can carry you on our wedding day.” Her mouth opened and clamped shut. Her face burned red and she buried her face in my neck. There is no way I was going to leave her single, carrying my child.

I'm adding this to my reading list! This is one of the best werewolf/fantasy novels I have ever read. Out of all the males on this story, Adrian is my fave! ❤️😊 World-building is 5 out of 5! 300 characters wasn't enough for a review. All in all, the story was great! Few more editing=perfection! 😊❤

When My Hundred-Year Love Turned to Ash

When My Hundred-Year Love Turned to Ash

I asked, surprised. "Tradition," he said simply. "The bride's feet must not touch the ground before the chapel doors. The groom must carry her inside." I wrapped my arms around his neck. His ancient, comforting scent of ice and snow surrounded me, and I felt strangely safe. With everyone watching, Damien carried me toward the chapel doors. Just then, I caught the faintest curve of his lips. It was the barest hint of a smile. A flicker of satisfaction. And my frozen heart skipped a beat.

Forced to Wed: A Billionaire's Romance

Forced to Wed: A Billionaire's Romance

"I will show you to the bedroom so you can get settled." "Hang on," I stop him. He slowly turns his huge body back to me. "What now?" "Aren't you going to carry me to the bedroom?" I ask innocently. "What? Why would I do that?" he barks. "Because it's tradition! The groom is supposed to carry his new bride to the bedroom," I declare. Vincent stares at me with a bewildered expression as if he can't believe my audacity. "I am not doing that."

THE LUNA HE NEVER WANTED

THE LUNA HE NEVER WANTED

Without asking, he lifted me into his arms again. The bridal carry felt… different now. Closer. My breath caught as one of his hands shifted slightly under the knees, pulling me tighter against his chest. My fingers instinctively curled into the front of his tuxedo, gripping the smooth fabric. His heartbeat was steady. Strong. Unshakable. I pressed my cheek against him before I could stop myself. His steps faltered. Just for a second. Then he kept walking. Inside the mansion was impossibly quiet. The marble floors reflected soft chandelier light, and the air smelled faintly of cedarwood and something crisp and expensive.

Derena Marie
I read this book in like 2 days. it's definitely worth the read, some of the scenarios were drawn out a little longer than I personally would have liked but the characters are well defined, lots of character growth and a wonderful ending

The Shrewd King

The Shrewd King

he calls. I ignore him and continue towards what I think is the way to the rooms. I hear Theo catching up to me, so I hasten my walk. I am about to reach the entrance when Theo suddenly lifts me. “What the—” “Shhh, I will carry you towards our room.” “I can walk!” “But I want to do a bridal carry with you.” “What does that even mean?!” I scold. He opens the middle door along the hallway. He pushes it with his feet and closes it again. He drops me on the bed and teases, “We are in the middle of the rooms, so be sure to keep your voice down.”

A Midwestern Cinderella

A Midwestern Cinderella

In theory, I should have just been able to cling to him while wearing the wobbly shoes, but I'd managed to fall anyway. He wrapped his beefy arm around my bicep and basically carried me like I was a rugby ball down the aisle. My feet attempted to make the appropriate delicate steps, but I looked and felt more like a marionette on a string. However, with Claud carrying me ninety percent of the way, we made it to the altar without me tripping again. He wasn't even out of breath. “Are you going to be okay?” he asked before letting go of my arm. “I can walk the three feet to my side,” I promised.

The Alpha’s Dionesa

The Alpha’s Dionesa

Paired with long brown trousers, brown fitted coats with narrow sleeves, high collars and black boots. He walked up to the two guards and maids that arrived earlier. After exchanging a few words the maids went back in and the two guards alongside the young man walked up to the carriage. The guards opened the carriage doors, while the man stepped in. He stood before me. “Don’t worry, I will take her in.” He said politely. I removed my arms that I had draped round her shoulders earlier and shifted aside to let him carry her. He carefully brought her down from the carriage and carrying her in a bridal style he stepped back into the mansion.

The Lycan king’s blind mate

The Lycan king’s blind mate

But before I could steady myself, Hades’ arms wrapped firmly around my waist, lifting me effortlessly into a bridal carry. My eyes widened in shock, and I heard Rylie let out a startled gasp. Why do these men insist on carrying me like I can’t walk on our own? My heart pounded in my chest as I clung to Hades out of instinct. His hold was strong yet surprisingly gentle, and every inch of me was hyper-aware of how close we were. His warmth seeped into my skin, making it impossible to ignore the intensity of the moment. I wanted to push him away, but something in his grip—and the heat radiating between us—made me freeze. He held me close, my body pressed tightly
