Everything was dark for a whole two freaking minutes. I could fill the pain, and later I became immune to the so-called pain. I became tired of shutting my eyes close, so I finally decided that it would be best if I at least tried to open my eyes because embracing death with a mighty smile is what makes one a legend...Well! This is just from my y mentality. I forced my eyes open. Not minding the pain. Finally! When my eyes were finally shut open, all that I could see were bright lights. The light was so bright that I knew that I made my way to heaven above.

They were a striking shade of beautiful blue, like deep sapphire pools, reflecting the tranquillity of the morning sky. Embarrassment flushed through me, my cheeks warming with a blush as I stood there, caught in the midst of my clumsy mishap. Yet, his expression softened, and a warmth radiated from his beautiful blue eyes. They held a tenderness that made my heart flutter, a connection that spoke of shared moments and unspoken emotions. Even in this vulnerable state, his eyes conveyed a reassurance, as if to say, "It's alright, Nesta."

Soon, the flames were crackling, casting dancing light over the clearing. Sitting by the fire, I found myself staring at the orange glow, my thoughts drifting to Liam. “He’s my baby,” I said suddenly, the words breaking the silence. Ryker looked at me, waiting. “Liam. His eyes…” My voice caught for a second, and I forced myself to breathe. “They’re the brightest shade of blue. He laughs with his whole body. I want to move close and breathe it in, but getting close to Scarlet is a bad fucking idea. Clearing my throat, I tear myself away before this semi turns into a full erection. “How are you able to keep your eyes open?” she laughs, blinks hers open for just a few seconds. “I have superpowers.” “Well, then use them and chop up the rest of the onion.” That smile looks so good on her, even with the red, watery eyes. She goes to the sink, washes her hands, and rubs her eyes. “Okay…that’s a little better. But, oh my God, I had no idea it got that bad!”

**END FLASHBACK** I look at my eyes in the mirror as they come back into focus and finally see all the damage that has been done to me over the years, especially the last one, and it is all evident right there in my eyes. They were once a bright blue but now that brightness has dulled as has all the hope and happiness that was once held within them.

My heart jumped with happiness, and I tried to keep it in check so Bright wouldn’t notice how desperate I was. It was him. Bright. He walked into the room with a distant look in his eyes, but when he saw me, he gave me a tender smile. He looked tired and worried, but his expression softened when he saw me. It wasn’t just any smile, not one out of obligation. It was a genuine smile. One of those signature Bright smiles that seemed to come from the honest side of his heart, those smiles that softened his whole face, lit him up and made him incredibly attractive.

I’m afraid to open my eyes because it’ll die. “As you open your eyes, capture the feeling you have right now”. I slowly dare to open my eyes and find the light is still surrounding us. “Oh Mor, it’s beautiful”. She smiles, “now try to push it out, including both of them into the circle”. I think of hugging both Lee and Liam. My circle starts expanding. “Oh my god, we’re doing it Mor!”, except I had yelled that out loud apparently.

She looked at Ranjeet who just winked at her naughtily. Tears of joy brimmed in the eyes of parents as Harjot hugged them before leaving. All was said through eyes by her dad to her husband. It is quite emotional to give your daughter away. The gifts were given and then Ranjeet helped Harjot to sit in the palanquin.

I could see out of the corner of my eyes Blade staring into my face. "Crystal, why don't you just be happy now that you're still breathing and you escaped from them?" "Be happy?" I swung my head a bit and look at him directly in his eyes. "If you would ask me what happiness is, I don't even know that word." Blade didn't pull back and just stare into my eyes. There's a huge difference between Liam's eyes and Blade's, his seemed to be a combination of anger, sadness, and hatred. It feels like when you get into his eyes you will get dissolve because of how painful it is in there.

We could see all the rides from up here and I was deciding which ride should we do next. Then my eyes landed on Aiden. His eyes were lightening up as he was smiling by seeing all this. He looked excited. The shine in his eyes and the strands of hair moving because of air were making him look so calm full that I couldn't even believe it was Aiden. For the first time, I was happy to make someone else happy. I was happy to see Aiden truly enjoying and more than happy about the fact that I was the one to make him this happy. My heart was beating rapidly and I couldn't focus on anything but this beautiful masterpiece of God. Xx____xX
