Faking It With The CEO

Faking It With The CEO

Oliver laughed, "Alright, then, what would you name it?" She pondered for a moment before a smile spread across her face. "How about Sunny? Because it looks so bright and happy." Oliver didn't turn his gaze from her face to look at the bird. Instead, his eyes lingered on the way the sunlight danced across her features. Her pale skin, usually dusted with a light sprinkle of freckles, seemed to glow with an inner radiance. The red of her hair cascaded loosely on her back seemed even more vibrant against the backdrop of the green leaves.

His Ungodly Touch

His Ungodly Touch

Calamity would still fall, and the evidence that it would pass and sunny days would come again is the fact that it even started. It never rains forever, so I believe I will not feel the hurt and sadness that I feel now forever. I will heal, and things will get better. I truly believe that. It is now morning and we are still on the jet plane. When I open my eyes, light from the sun blinds me and I use my hand as a shield. It is sunrise and the view is magnificent. The golden light from the sun bounces on the clouds, creating an illusion that we are in heaven.

Waves Of POSSESSIVENESS First Series

Waves Of POSSESSIVENESS First Series

I hugged her tightly because I was afraid of her being disappeared from my sight. Her whimpering low voice didn't get me sleep even for a blink. My Sunshine is beautiful very beautiful. "The words beautiful would do no justice to her beauty. She looks like an angel, fallen from the sky only for me. My Sunshine brings the lights hope and happiness in my life. She is pure. The word 'pure' is the right word to describe her. Her smile is serene just her smile is enough to warm my heart, to turn the gloom into brightness. I was staring at her and thinking about our lives taking unexpected turns of 360°.

The King's Brightest Star

The King's Brightest Star

It was still dark and the stars littered the sky, gleaming like a thousand diamonds. “I’ve never seen the night sky,” Ellis admitted. “Their universe is highly matured, so it is densely packed. That’s why the sky glitters like that… like it is illuminated by the stars alone and it doesn’t need a sun to brighten the planet,” Laurel said. “It’s strange that the sky can seem so beautiful even though the world is suffering,” Ellis whispered. “It just shows that the world will go on… the universe will move on no matter what.” Laurel gave her a pointed look.

This was such an interesting story! I enjoyed the characters and plot development. A recommended read! One hiccup was that throughout various chapters there was random errors in the names (e.g, Ellis named Bella). It was a bit distracting but not a deal breaker.

Sweet Hope for the Alpha Kingpin

Sweet Hope for the Alpha Kingpin

HOPE POV I shaded my eyes as I got off the plane, the bright sun almost overwhelming me. I turned, blindly, back towards the plane and bumped into Nicco. “Looking for this?” he asked, mildly, handing me my hat. I took it with thanks and plopped it on my head. For all of the amazing things New York City had to offer, it never really got this bright. Outside of all of the buildings and pollution, the sun was the brightest I’ve ever seen it and it made everything look like a beautiful painting.

Sin With Me, Sunshine

Sin With Me, Sunshine

Sofia The sun was bleeding into the ocean, a massive hemorrhage of crimson and violet that signaled the end of the world or at least, the end of our world. It was our last night. Tomorrow morning, the jet would be waiting we would be carried back to the suffocating reality of the city. I lay on the massive bed, naked, my body tangled with Luca's. I traced the line of the black ink on Luca's bicep, a complex, geometric design that disappeared into his armpit. My finger followed the raised skin, memorizing the texture.

All Yours, Daddies

All Yours, Daddies

SARAH The sun is pure gold by the time we get to the beach. Not that weak, washed-out morning light I always get in Durmont either. This? This is full-on, magazine-cover, dripping-in-luxury sunlight, and I’m soaking up every second of it. It’s the kind that makes the sea sparkle like it’s wearing diamonds and turns everyone’s skin into a golden dream. The VIP section has been arranged for us. I smile when I see the huge cushioned daybeds, and umbrellas the size of a small aircraft.

In the Professor's Arms

In the Professor's Arms

The sun was shining brightly on the beautiful summer day, casting a warm glow over the lush green gardens of the luxurious estate. The air was filled with the sweet scent of blooming flowers and the soft chirping of birds, creating a serene and romantic atmosphere. Adeline, resplendent in her stunning white wedding gown, stood at the altar, her eyes locked on Sebastian's as he gazed at her with adoration. The delicate lace and intricate embroidery of her gown sparkled in the sunlight, accentuating her beauty and elegance.

Burning Desire: His Chosen Wolf

Burning Desire: His Chosen Wolf

I smiled at them and tipped them an imaginary hat and they cheered for me. I cruised to a halt and jumped down from the car before grabbing my backpack and retrieving the Moon Phoenix. It glowed through the foil and I turned to look at the sunset, taking how beautiful it was against the skies. It was the reason for this glow. I unwrapped the Moon Phoenix and lifted it into the skies, towards the direction of the sunset and it let out a glow this time, it took the color of the sunset. Fiery orange, yellow, an almost red tinge, pink and purple. It let out its light, casting an ethereal glow around me.

A Life Without Sunlight

A Life Without Sunlight

"There’s nothing wrong with it. It just faces north. It’s too cold. I want a south-facing room. It doesn’t matter if it’s smaller." I really was cold. The brain tumor had thrown off my body’s ability to regulate temperature. It felt like I was trapped in a freezer all the time. Only sunlight gave me even a hint of warmth. "Cold? Then turn on the A/C." Mom looked at me like I was being unreasonable. "The south-facing room is your Uncle Jonathan’s study. The other one is a storage room." "Then I’ll take the storage room." Her eyes widened. "Are you insane? You’re turning down a perfectly good guest room to live in a storage closet? Are you trying to make your Uncle Jonathan think I’m abusing y
