(Aria’s POV) The‍ morn‍ing sunlight al‍ways found a way to sneak through t⁠he curta‌ins no matter⁠ how‍ tightly I clo‌sed th⁠em. Usually, th‌at golden l‌igh⁠t felt gentle — a qui‌et start to anoth⁠er peaceful day. But⁠ not‍ today. Today,‌ it felt har⁠sh. Too bri‌ght. Too revealing.

The sunlight was just right. Lux meant light, and there was light in the distance.

As dawn's first light emerged, the morning sun, resembling a blazing sphere of fire, gracefully ascended the sky, brushing it with a spectacular palette of deep crimson and shimmering gold. His gaze went past me and up toward the horizon and his grin shifted into an all out smile. I turned my head from him to see a golden ball of fire rising up over the dark blue water. The sky was awash in blues, pinks, golds, and oranges that stole my breath away. It was possibly the most stunning sunrise I had ever seen. I glanced over at him again. The sunlight was bathing him in total glory, accenting the strength of his cheekbones and the golds in his hair. His shoulders were relaxed as he soaked in the morning light, absorbing it's radiance.
