“Salmon?” “I promised him some when I hauled him out of that stinking garage,” Brody said matter-of-factly. “I figured I owed him. It's not often a man's given such a chance to impress his lady love, is it? It did impress you, I hope?” he added mockingly. “Brody, this is crazy…” Alanis said helplessly as she slipped her arms into her coat. “You know there's no point…” “Everyone can be a little crazy sometimes, didn't you know that?”

Brody felt uneasy and was starting to feel scared. However, he still truthfully told them what happened at the time. “I followed Mr. Goodbar’s instructions and went to speak with them properly, but they completely ignored me. Their leader was a beautiful woman who didn’t even spare me a glance.” Brody felt that he had to be clear. He had indeed been wronged, and his arm was still in excruciating pain, but he could only grit his teeth and endure it.

Andrew's POV With each step I took, my anxiety grew. Was I truly ready for the answers I sought? "This way, boss," Fred said, opening a door into a small room. The room lacked windows and featured a single bulb and a chair in the center. Brody was tied to the chair, and blindfolded. “Where am I? What the fuck do you guys want? I don't have any money” Brody began to cry. Pathetic! I rolled my eyes and motioned Fred to loosen the blindfold around Brody's face.

Ridian’s POV Brody and I had never got along very well, and that was because he was very incompetent at times. He was capable of doing a lot of things and was very intelligent, but he was a major procrastinator. He was lazy and spent a lot of time drinking and chasing after women. When he was not doing that, he liked to terrorize those weaker than him for fun. We had had a lot of arguments and fights because of this but it didn’t look like he was about to change.

Brody Everything is going wrong for me today. My best friend Oscar and I had just started working at The Club, the sex club that my sister and her husband owned. Except that I just got a look at the schedule, and we got put on opposite schedules. Now we not only don't work with each other, we also don't get to hang out after work either. Or game together on our favorite server.

"Ryder and his twin brothers helped me through that hell." A known look on Andrius passed and he led his hand out for him to take which Ryder gladly took. "Andrius, her brother." "Ryder, Elena's brother." He replied, pressing on his words. A wave of warm shock flooded within me and I kept my face neutral as possible. Why was even bothering? The knowledge that he was letting Hendry down was hurting him the same. Brody knows him too well, this happens every time he is back in town. Whenever he's in the vicinity it seemed like his best friend had a pull a string over him. This would go on for weeks until they'd get irritated with each other and their stubborn nature made them fall apart all over again. Brody needed to get back to reality, back to dating Callie. She was charming, they do have a lot in common and Brody thought he would be able to envision his future with her. Though he knew that he was not there yet, he still wanted to try.

Too bad for the criminal element, I used all my pent up energies and frustration hunting their asses. "Let's finish this then if you're happy with the goods, the boss will be waiting." I passed him the case full of money, which he passed off to one of the goons to be checked for authenticity. This shit was nothing like the movies. It took time and planning to be executed just right. These fucks took their business seriously, down to every last detail and they had the money and resources to carry it out. This fuck Mikhail Zubrinsky could buy and sell three third world countries and still be a multi billionaire.
