Adam picked back his book and continued to read his book like I did not even exist. I gave him one last look before heading out of the library. I was embarrassed and my throat was clogged with unshed tears. I could feel the sides of my eyes prickling. I swallowed. Immediately I went out of the liberty, I ran for a very long time because I was embarrassed. I was really embarrassed and hurt because Adam had hurt me. He had bashed my heart to pieces. Every part of my heart was broken and shattered in pieces. If this was how heartbreak was, then I needed to avoid every single thing, I ran like I wanted to run away from me memories and the hurt.
