HIS REGRETS

HIS REGRETS

“How dare you even think of such a thing? What will you tell the Starlings as your reason for divorcing their daughter? Or have you forgotten that Mr. Starling invested one billion dollars in our company when we almost went bankrupt, and now you want to pay them back with evil?” “But Mom, I don’t love Annabel. Our marriage was a mistake. Seeing her face every morning makes me sick.” “Oh please, spare me that. You don’t love her, and you went ahead to marry her and even have kids with her?” “Mom, that was a mistake, and now I’m trying to rectify my mistakes. Meadow is the one I love, Mom. Back then I made a huge mistake by telling her to abort that pregnancy and letting her go. Please help me

Divorce and Regret, His Ex-wife is a Billionaire

Divorce and Regret, His Ex-wife is a Billionaire

No one deserved to feel that alone. “Please, Jordyn,” I said. “Come home. Help your father fight for the company.” “I have nothing there,” he replied. “I ruined everything. My company. Our marriage. Everything’s gone. And it’s all my fault. I’ve made my bed. Now it’s time to lay in it.” My heart lurched again as I finally realized what this was truly about. Regret. Regret and guilt.

Regrets From Ex Won't Win Me Back

That's why he ordered his hit, but now, truly, things had gotten out of hand. The testimony that truly broke him came from Isabella Rivera, his ex-wife. She was looking good, happy and very beautiful. Of all the things he has done, mistreating Isabella was at the top of his regret list. Things were great when she was around but Eliza flipped his world upside down. Not to shift blame but she was bad luck.

His Regret: Barren Ex-Wife Has A Baby

His Regret: Barren Ex-Wife Has A Baby

He turned to me with that boyish grin, his dimples showing. "Why should I?" I teased, shaking my head. "Because that’s what a good wife does," he had said. "A good wife wouldn’t let her husband burn the whole kitchen down," I laughed, stepping beside him, and nudging him playfully. The memory shattered like glass, leaving behind nothing but a bitter taste in my mouth. I turned away, my fingers slipping from the frame. I didn't need these memories anymore. They were nothing but ghosts of a past that no longer belonged to me.

His Regret

His Regret

He said and his grip on my hands loosened a bit. “I agree that it took me a long time to stop being an asshole, a godless crook. It took me a long time to realize that you’re the best thing that has ever happened to me. But now that I’ve finally realized it…” He let go of my hands and slowly went down on his knees. I watched him in confusion, wondering what he was doing and then I noticed his eyes were misty. He was about to cry. “… I want you to know that I regret ever rejecting you.” He said. “I regret ever neglecting your love. I regret ever yelling at you and tormenting you.” He was already shedding tears now and seeing him this way touched me in a deep way.

No steamy season yet in this book.only in the description of the story that’s it. Very misleading. I agree it started out great but the writing and character seem to be very childish I am loosing interest really fast. Even though it’s fave stars it should be two maybe three no more so far.

Love's Redemption

Love's Redemption

Jace asked again. Maybe he didn't catch it the first time. I looked at him, the face I'd admired for ten years, and gave my final answer. "Yeah, Jace, I'm breaking up with you. From now on, we're done. We'll marry other people and have nothing to do with each other." He let out a bitter laugh. "Fine, you said it. Don't regret it." 'Regret?!' This was the second time he'd mentioned it. I had no idea how he could be so confident to say something like that.

The ML changed, thought it was Jace but author made him a jerk...after so many chapters here comes Hayden who's all so good but nuhhh I can't feel the chemistry between him and FL. Also why is Hayden MIA in so many chapters? and Jace is always there. The FL has become shallow not very likable!
spongebob
Ngl i like Hayden cuz of his personality but JACE DESERVED A SECOND CHANCE he changed so much for FL & respected her boundaries too. Hayden kept lying about everything so didn't like him after the fake death. Also personally I liked FL in the start but later she just started being the problem there.

Regret After Divorcing His Wife

Regret After Divorcing His Wife

“Don’t start with cheap lines, Adrian. I’ve suffered enough from you. You have no idea what it feels like to be sidelined, belittled, treated like a shadow behind your success.” “I do know!” Adrian’s voice cracked as his emotion broke through. “Because I was blind! I crushed your worth, I wounded the one person who gave me everything. And I’ve regretted it every second since you left.” Rosemary clenched her fists, struggling to hold back tears. “You regret it now because you need me to save your business—not because you truly love me.”

My Husband Regretted Divorcing Me

My Husband Regretted Divorcing Me

But it wouldn’t have been funny. “Understand what?” He stepped closer. Not enough to invade her space. Just enough that his next words felt personal. “What regret looks like.” The air shifted. Lena felt it immediately. That dangerous pull she had spent months resisting. Because the regret in his voice sounded human. And that made him harder to dismiss. She steadied herself. “You think saying this changes anything?” “No.” He answered too quickly for it to be rehearsed. “I know it doesn’t.” A beat.

After divorce, He regretted

After divorce, He regretted

“Ugh, don’t remind me. I wanna throw up thinking about it. Used to admire him. Didn’t know he was out here pining for his ex while still married. Now look—lost ‘em both.” “Imagine finally realizing who actually loved you all along—only to find out she’s already gone. That shit’s heartbreaking.” “Yeah, well, I’m just saying… this whole thing’s screwing up company operations. I heard the marketing team had to work overtime three straight days ‘cause the budget approval was delayed. Didn’t leave the office till midnight.” “Not like anyone can do shit about it. He’s the only son, right? Whole company’s gonna be his sooner or later.”

good reader
The story was good Liked the ending and also Aaron's POV makes him explain himself so it helps to know he was not the worst but not the best hope he too gets good ending if not in this one in some other one.
Lovis.L
The story has ended! Ch105–119 are mostly from Aaron’s point of view, so the storyline is similar to what you’ve read before Chapter 105. Chapter 120 is brand new content and wraps up the story. Thank you again for all your support!it truly means a lot!

Preguntas frecuentes

You know, I've always found this kind of regret deeply human. It's not just about losing someone—it's about realizing too late what you truly had. A 'broken' wife might've been someone who carried scars, but those scars often come from love, sacrifice, or resilience. Maybe he took her quiet strength for granted, assuming she'd always be there to patch things up. Now that she's gone, the silence screams louder than any argument ever did.

There's also the guilt of hindsight. When you're in the thick of things, it's easy to focus on flaws—the way she folded towels 'wrong' or how she worried too much. But after losing her, those quirks become sacred. You start to see how her 'brokenness' was just humanity, and how your own imperfections were cushioned by her grace. It's a cruel irony that clarity arrives only after the chance to act on it is gone.
