The Bookstore Temptation

The Bookstore Temptation

Inpeaceplacesilent darkness
Lena smiled a fraction wider—and it hit him like a body blow. God, he was miserable. As she swept them across at the checkout, Julian prowled the aisles back and forth, his fingers dancing over the spines but not really looking. He stood in front of the poetry aisle. A hand-scrawled notice taped to the shelf read: *"'For broken hearts and brave souls.'*" Julian snorted under his breath. *Broken* was weakness. *Bravery* was folly. But still, his hand closed over a slim book without deliberation.

The Roomie Complex

The Roomie Complex

It still wasn’t enough. I wasn’t done. I wasn’t nearly done. I started grabbing everything I could reach—my perfume tray, the vase from Santorini, my designer candle holders, the antique books I kept by the window seat. One by one, I sent them flying. The sharp cracks of broken things were the only thing holding me together. If I didn’t break them, I would break myself. I was already breaking. I was already broken. And then I saw it—half-buried beneath the scattered pillows, tipped over on its side. The old frame. I didn’t remember keeping it. I didn’t even remember placing it there. But it found me anyway.

Addicted To My Accidental Husband

Addicted To My Accidental Husband

I meant to transfer her to the Michigan branch if she continued to pester me with her loud music. When the driver started the car, I studied the book cover she gave me. Only now did I realize the title of the book, “Where Do Broken Hearts Go?” I suddenly worried about Leigh after realizing that this book is a kind of self-help, an inspiring book providing insights about loss and grief. I close my eyes, wondering how Leigh is now.

I fell in love with Kayleigh & Alex. Your writing is just amazing. I cried with them especially in the chapters where they the farm. So wishing to have sequel where we can read about their second phase of life with Amanda and Little Alexander. please please please please atleast give some epilogues.
Crizie
I so love Kayleigh’s character! Alex was frustrating at some point but still so inlove with them both. I cried and got mad at some parts. I hated some of their stupid choices but it made it realistic and relatable. Thanks for this story! Highly recommended

Billionaire shadows

And once a system begins to fracture— It doesn’t go back to what it was. It becomes something else. Unstable. Unpredictable. Exposed. Emily watched the branching directives one last time. Then she said— “This is where it starts breaking.” And this time— No one disagreed.

Chasing my Luna

Chasing my Luna

Their expression was calm but tinged with urgency. “You’ve come far,” the stranger said, their voice layered with echoes that reverberated through the very fabric of the room. “But your journey is far from over.” “I’m tired of riddles,” Jessica shot back, her voice rising slightly. “Tell me what I need to do.” The stranger tilted their head slightly, as though considering the question. “Do? There’s nothing left to do. Only to decide.” Before she could respond, the books began to fall from the shelves, each landing open at her feet. Pages flipped rapidly, revealing fragments of lives lived and lost, choices made and undone. Some showed moments of triumph; others depicted failures so profound

Stephanie Francisca Benjaminwhy am i suddenly stumbling over my words
“I’m sorry this happened. I’m sorry you had to see it. Please, give me another chance. I don't want to ruin your first day of training. Today is supposed to be special for you. Please allow me to fix this.” I didn’t respond. My gaze drifted around the library, taking in the destruction. The room was in ruins. Books were scattered everywhere, shelves toppled and broken. My eyes caught on a large, old book lying on the floor. Something about it drew me in, a strange sense of familiarity pulling at me.

AUCTIONED TO THE LYCAN KING

AUCTIONED TO THE LYCAN KING

My hands were flat on the surface in front of me. Then something inside me broke. Not cracked. Not fractured. Broke. Completely. Catastrophically. Like a dam that had been holding back an ocean for months finally giving way. I stood up and grabbed the edge of the desk. I flipped it. The massive oak structure crashed onto its side and sent papers and maps and pens scattering across the floor. The lamp shattered. Glass exploded across the stone. I grabbed the bookshelf next. Ripped it from the wall. Books rained down around me. Their pages fluttered like wounded birds.

The Wedding Night Curse

The Wedding Night Curse

Alika’s POV There was a page in the book that hadn’t been there the night before. I was sure of it. Pressed between a crumbling leaf and the edge of a wax-stained page, it had appeared like a wound reopening—a set of instructions written in a woman's looping hand, smudged with something that looked like dried ash and blood. "When the fire takes, the bond breaks. But only if danced in truth. Only under stars that forget."

BOUND TO THE WRONG CALLAHAN

BOUND TO THE WRONG CALLAHAN

About everyone she planned to destroy. Her handwriting messy. Jagged. Like her thoughts. Like her heart. In the middle of the page, circled three times, one word stood out. Fire. She stared at it. Smiled. Touched the word like a prayer. She laughed again. Quieter this time. More disturbing because of it. "They think I'm broken." She whispered. "They think I'm done." She looked up. Eyes gleaming. "But broken things are the most dangerous. Because they have nothing left to lose."
