"You're so small." He side stepped her and grabbed the jar, she let out a sharp breath at his bluntness. "I'm a whooping 5'7." She stood tall, but he didn't seem impressed. "I'm 6'6." He said with a clear face. Breanna's mouth dropped to the floor. She saw his lip twitched trying to hide his smile.

A rolling stool and a small counter with a sink completed the sparse furnishings. A while later, the door opened and the doctor, Maria, stepped in, a woman in her fifties with hair so dark you'd believe she had dyed it. But I didn't think she did so. Some people had significant genes, and she seemed to be one of those blessed with them. She barely had any noticeable wrinkles on her face, so she didn't need any makeup to cover up anything since she was beautiful. Maria was about my height, 5"6' or maybe an inch shorter and she carried herself with fluid grace.
