Buck smirked and looked up abruptly before laughing maniacally. Wilbur stopped reaching for chips and asked, "Is it that funny?" "It is." Buck nodded hard, and he was tearing up from laughing. He asked, "Did you know that Brian worked for me? You killed him, but I gave you free chips. Now it's raining, and you're in my car eating chips. Don't you think it's hilarious? How can you do this to me?" Wilbur stared at Buck. Suddenly, the smile on Buck's face gradually froze. They stared at each other. Three seconds later, the right door of the car was blown away with Wilbur flying out of the car.

"Looks like you'll be getting some new furniture, too." Ezra chuckled as the others reached the porch steps. "Don't think this whole getting shot thing will keep you from helping out," Josh said with a shake of his head. "You're raking the forest next time." "Raking the forest?" Tanner asked as he leaned on the porch railing, his white hair pulled back in a ponytail. "Why on earth would you rake the forest?" "Because Bull Creek has a weird alpha who likes to burn things in the middle of summer," Josh said with a sigh.

He suddenly cut me off, tone harsh, “I’m Buck. I’ll be your trial advisor.” “Trial advisor?” My brow arched. He nodded, “The Alpha wants you to get dressed and meet him outside the main gate in five minutes.” I blinked, exasperatedly. I had just woken up and it was all too fast to process all at the same time. Buck suddenly turned around to leave and I scurried to my feet again, almost grabbing him by the hem of his shirt when he turned around. The hostility in his eyes threw me aback, I knew when to stand down.

He told her that Susan Fox committed suicide and Sebastian was with her. Poison didn’t say anything but stared at Buck for a long time. After what felt like years he took a step back and scoffed. “Sebastian Wild. He proved that men were nothing but animals and Buck, this is the last day for you to work for me” After throwing those words Poison walked out and Buck followed him out begging him not to push him away. Poison ordered his men to drive the car away. Buck saw the retreating car and sighed. Buck stood alone on the road watching the direction of Poison’s car. He didn’t notice few figures entering the building.

He must have been hearing things, or she must have been saying things. Archibald thought about what’s in store for her in the future. Will she really stay here by herself? Is it really safe here? They don’t even know why her parents were killed and what they mean by this ‘Hunting Season’. What will they hunt, werewolves or Selene? Questions raced through his mind but she has no answers to satisfy them. He felt worthless. He felt the need to provide Selene the safety she needs. No. He must make sure she is safe
