The next entry was from when Scarlet was eleven. “Today was another horrible day at school. Despite Dad being an investor in the school, the kids won’t stop bullying me. The seniors, especially Michael’s classmates, are the worst. There’s this girl, Skylar, who is the ringleader. She’s friends with David, and they take every chance to make my life miserable.” I felt a pang of sadness as I continued reading. Scarlet described an incident where David and Skylar had humiliated her. They had stolen her wheelchair during lunch and hidden it, leaving her stranded in the cafeteria. They laughed and called her names while she struggled to get help.

When I was about to enter my classroom, these two idiots stopped me and push me at the corner, "Hey cutie, didn't I told you to give me your number ? Common don't be shy I Know you wanna have some fun with us too" So ... this is Jack and Jimmy , both are known as a bully and they always annoy poor or scolership students like me. They are one of those low thinker people who believe education in this popular University is only for wealthy brats like them so they annoy and bully who isn't as rich as them..... I really hate basterds like them. I feel so disgusted when they were eying me from head to toe and 'baby' that sounded like a dirty swear word to me ____ it's kinda strange how I never fel

The laughter grew louder, kids from other classes started crowding the classroom. He snapped the diary shut when I got closer and looked down at me. “Wanna know why nobody loves you? It's because everyone can smell your desperation.” “That's not true!” I yelled as tears rolled down my cheeks. I knew I was out of their league but how could he be so cruel? What's wrong with a simple crush? I didn't kill his pet! Why is he bullying me like this? Being the Alpha's sons doesn't give them the right to treat me like this! It's not right!

Several students glanced over. Most looked away. Nobody said anything. Nobody ever did. That was the thing about bullying. People always talked about standing up for others. In reality? Most people just thanked God it wasn’t happening to them. “Aw, look,” Sean called. “She found it.” Another round of laughter followed. I swallowed hard. The familiar sting burned behind my eyes. Not here. Please not here. The last thing I needed was to cry in front of half the student body. I shoved the spitball into the side pocket of my backpack and turned around.

“Should’ve thought of that before you put your hands on Dira. Karma’s a bitch.” Outside in the dimly lit hallway, they pushed me to the ground. The concrete bit into my knees. Phones surrounded me in a deadly circle, lights blinding. “Beg like you made Dira beg!” someone yelled. I looked up, breathing ragged. Tears burned my eyes, but I refused to let them fall. “I’m not begging any of you. This isn’t justice. This is bullying. You’re all just pawns in someone else’s game.” Braids Girl kicked me in the side. Pain flared through my ribs. I gasped, curling instinctively. “Pawns? We’re the ones exposing you!”

"You're just being unreasonable." Wayne glanced at me but avoided meeting Lucy's gaze. Finally, he gathered enough nerve to speak. "It's finally Christmas Eve, Lucy. Don't you think you're taking this too far?" Lucy nudged Wayne, making him freeze. She sneered and said, "You guys were picking on Melanie because she's younger. At first, I thought she wouldn't have the guts to stand up for herself, so I stayed out of it. "But turns out, she's no pushover. She saw right through all your little games. You guys treated her like dirt and were still hoping for a nice Christmas Eve with all the bells and whistles? Dream on!"

I heard Kate ask before hugging me. "I'm fine! I'm just tired of him bullying me." I said. "I can't believe Mrs. Grammer acted like he didn't say anything to you. She should have kicked him out." Kayla said "Yeah, but you know she is from his pack. She would never go against him for me. No one would; I am poor and a nobody. He is a soon-to-be Alpha of his pack." "You aren't a nobody, and it's not right how he treats you and gets away with it. Don't sell yourself short," Kate said.

"I get bullied for being attracted to someone. I get beat up, Ford. Punched. Kicked. Called names. It's not easy" "I'm sorry, i didn't mean it like that i just- My parents would care. I'd be shunned" his eyes glance around, likely keeping an eye out for his football friends. "I get it" I whisper, nodding. "See you at our spot?" he asks, his eyes lighting up with hope. "Of course" I nod, and then I'm heading to class. I feel sick to my stomach. — "You're even more irritating than I thought" I mumble, writing down some ideas for our project. Mrs. Lowey is my favorite teacher, and her class is one of my favorites. She teaches biology. Our project is to study a wild animal.
