The Luna I'm Meant To Be

The Luna I'm Meant To Be

And once we were done, and I pulled her into my arms as I waited for her to rest so I could go for another round, I felt my father nudging my mindlink. ‘Rowan…’ I groaned internally. I didn’t want anyone to disturb my time with my mate, but since he was mindlinking me just after we had our talk, I figured it could be something serious. So I answered, ‘Yes, Dad.’ ‘I had called my friends to check for that book like we discussed, and they just got back to me,’ he said. ‘Well, the same part of the book was also burnt in each book. And I’m guessing it’s the same with the books in other packs.’

Lunation of Fate

Lunation of Fate

So he asked Chastine to look out for the setup, while he asked Juste that they have a one on one talk in somewhere more private, out of Chastine’s earshot: on the balcony outside next to the laboratory, facing a great view of the mountains. “Do tell me, Juste.” was Maxill’s opening remark to break Juste’s cold and distant mood. Juste was finding it so hard to come up with the words to describe what happened. But he still managed to explain to Maxill about their predicament. The sinewy fellhound heaved out a heavy sigh, looked towards the horizon, and said, “…book was burned… Everything was burned… Scion did it.” “You mean every bush?!” “…he seems to know what was inside the book, every detai

Love Burned to a Crisp

Love Burned to a Crisp

Bitterness was rising from deep inside me. "Tucker, do you really think a few sweet words are enough to fix things? What about the coldness and disdain you showed back then? What was that worth? Do you have any idea what I'd endured all those years?" He opened his mouth to reply, but no words came. As I looked at him, those humiliating, heart-wrenching memories rushed back in a relentless wave. A sharp ache blossomed deep in my chest. "Tell me, Tucker, what was I to you? Was I merely a stand-in for someone else? I poured my heart into loving and understanding you, yet all I ever got in return was indifference and contempt.

Until The Last Day

Until The Last Day

But when he looked up, hundreds of other books were lifting and floating from the shelves, their pages bleeding and whispering her name. “Camela. Camela. Camela.” Her head spun, and her chest rose and fell heavily. “They want me…” Vincent held her tightly against him, his flame blazing so bright enough it illuminated the shelves like daylight. “Then they’ll have to burn for it,” he said. He swung his arm through the air, sending fire in a blazing arc that struck the shelves. The books shrieked, blood hissed, and their pages curled black, turning ash. But for every book that he burned, ten more emerged from the shadows. They surged forward, bleeding words that crawled across the floor and wra

He Burned the Bond, I Buried His Heir

He Burned the Bond, I Buried His Heir

The wolfsbane draught did not just burn. It hit deeper. It tore through the weakest, most broken part of me. I folded over, coughing so hard my body shook. My chest burned. My skull throbbed. Then my wolf took the blow. I felt it. The part of me that had already been damaged, already failing, buckled again. My scent turned wild. My breathing broke apart. The room swam black at the edges. This was not just pain. My wolf was being hurt again. It had never recovered from the fire.

A TALE OF DARK LUST

A TALE OF DARK LUST

Today I saw it in the books which I had not read so I decided to read this one. Currently, I am in my room and sitting on the bed with my knees pulled to my chest. I am holding the book with my only left hand. I cannot use my right hand because the king burnt it last night with hot candle wax. The candle wax had deeply burnt my skin and I am sure the wounds will leave scars. It was very painful and I felt like my arm was in direct contact with hot blazing fire rather than hot wax. It was worse than walking on the hot sand. When he left the room last night, I fainted. I woke up this morning.

said Jette. “Peace?” asked Brent. Jette accepted the apology and they shook hands. *** When Jette arrived home, she immediately examined if the comb has hair strands. It has!!! She inserted those hairs on the pages of the book, and a flame starts from the bottom, until the midway, and the book was burned half. She’s so happy!!! She immediately called Crisanta. “Miss, I have burned the book on its halfway,” said Jette. “Nice. The second rule can be found on the burned part,” Crisanta said.

Azian (Prince of Dragons)

Azian (Prince of Dragons)

Mariah asked, “If it’s dangerous, why to keep it?” Immediately a fire started right at the heart of the book causing Anna and Mariah to gasp, leaning back as Abigail watched the fire Ena had started right in between the pages of the book till it died out. Ena put her hand down withdrawing the fire, "it has been tried, but as you can see, it can't be destroyed. This is not a regular book. This is not just dark magic," she replied and the witches were awed at the sight of the book which stood proudly the same as before.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I love the characters and how well you have them interact with each other. I can’t remember the last time I laughed so much when reading a book. Even though I had an inkling on where the story might go, I preferred to follow along with your storytelling instead.

Burned By His Lies

Burned By His Lies

I tell her. “Thank you,” she says. “It makes it feel like home,” I say as I move to her table. “Maybe I should hire you to decorate mine too. Make it just like this.” “I'm sure you can get a professional to help you,” she says while trying to organize the books on her desk. But one book catches my interest. It has a picture hanging out partly from the side. So I pick it up. “I could but I only want your touch.” Once I open the book and see the picture, something in me changes.

BURNING FOR DADDY

BURNING FOR DADDY

Hell no! My name isn't Blackwood, the doctor must have assumed I took up Damien's name since he's now my stepfather. I was too weak to argue so I let it slide. “Let's check what's going on with you.” He said and moved closer to me. “She clearly has an infection. That is the reason for the fever and why she's burning up so much. Miss, do you have any infected wounds?” The doctor asked me and I nodded in the affirmative. I opened the blanket and showed him the cut I had from the tree at the cemetery yesterday.
