After sunrise, Dario returned to the manor. The east wing had been burned beyond recognition. Workers moved through the ruins to clear the remaining debris. Julia stood next to Dario. She was wrapped in a blanket, and her face looked pale. "Do you think Daisy might still be inside?" Julia asked shakily. Dario ignored her completely. He stared at the items being carried out from the wreckage. He couldn't tell whether he felt relieved or terrified. "Don Verdant!" one of the workers called out as he ran over. "We found this near the staircase on the east side."

“Sorry, I’m a bit out of it.” She shrugged, and opening the small door in the gate. She had no umbrella with her, I’m guessing she go out in a hurry. Rose stood on the rooftop of a building across from the Grand Plaza Hotel, her face lit by the orange glow of flames. POV: Rose Standing in the middle of the burnt field with blood rolling down her face . Rose looked at what was left of her home.It sure wasn't wonderful but it was all she had left. The burnt buildings still smoldering and the smell of death still hung the air. Bodies of her pack littered the ground surrounding her. Rose was numb. Taking a few steps toward the pack house she so her father. She absolutely felt nothing about her dad with his head that had been rip clear his shoulders. There was a large puddle of blood and lifeless eyes staring into the sky.

I look like myself in a way that the white dress alone would not have managed, and I understand, standing here, that this is what he wanted me to see. He wanted me to see myself as he sees me. When I step back out into the room, Aurora makes a sound that is not quite a word, and Sophia blinks too fast and looks away for a second before looking back. "You look like the fire lady," Rose says. I look down at her. "Is that good?" She nods with complete certainty as she finally hands me the rose that she has been holding all this time. "Fire ladies are the strongest ones, just like roses."
