As I got closer, I realized it was an old cabin, seemingly abandoned for a long time. I decided not to stay there for too long. The place felt a little eerie. Inside, there was an old bed, a very old stove that ran on firewood, shelves filled with dusty books, a broken wooden chair, and several scattered papers and books on the floor, as if someone had once used the place as a library.

Her grandma and mother could often be found at the dining table with several texts open for reference. ‘Odd,’ she thought as she riffled through the pages and saw earmarks on some of them.
