"Every single time," I said, smiling at the memory, "She said we were too skinny."
He laughed, glancing around. "We studied for every exam in here."
"And you somehow failed half of them anyway."
"Hey," he said, shoving me lightly. "I passed the ones that mattered."
I laughed at him.
The barista called us forward, and Caleb ordered what I always got back then without asking me what I wanted.
"Vanilla latte, extra foam, one pump of caramel," he said.
