Getting my ex-wife back

Getting my ex-wife back

Caleb, who had known nothing but luxury his whole life almost fainted to death from the pain. "Mr. Richards... There is really no one. It's a company I started." Caleb's consciousness became more and more blurred, but the last trace of his senses still lingered in his mind. He spoke vaguely. "Huh!" Hansen snorted coldly, stretched out his hand to throw Caleb's fat body on the sofa, then stepped on his stomach a few times. He lowered his head and said viciously, "Your company that does not operate. You sell some cigarettes, alcohol, run some casinos, and you dare to come into the market? I know what kind of business your company does. In fact, there's not even one company in A city that I don

Nine Ungrateful Sisters

Nine Ungrateful Sisters

A pot of coffee rested in his hand, and several cups had already been poured and set out. The moment he saw Caleb, he rose with a smile. "Come sit, old friend. Fresh beans just arrived. Your favorite." Caleb sat on a chair without ceremony and lifted a cup with the expression of a man experiencing genuine peace. "Coffee like this only exists in your house." Atlas smiled but said nothing. He turned toward Oscar and offered a careful bow. "Atlas Moonveil greets the Archon." Oscar responded with a slight nod. Celeste's eyes narrowed faintly. She took a quiet step forward.

FANGS AND FATE: Bitten by the Alpha

FANGS AND FATE: Bitten by the Alpha

Caleb’s voice cut in. I blinked and looked up. He was holding two coffees and smiling like he knew something I didn’t. “I’m fine.” “Let’s get lunch.” “It’s 11 a.m.” “And you didn’t eat breakfast. I can tell.” “You can’t tell that.” “I absolutely can. Your energy screams ‘I had coffee for dinner and regrets for dessert.’” I groaned. “Caleb…” “Come on. Just… step out. Twenty minutes. My treat.” I looked at the screen again. I wasn’t working. I wasn’t doing anything useful.

The Billionaire’s Bartered Bride

The Billionaire’s Bartered Bride

Wow. "I don't even know what to say, all these happened under my nose and I didn't even notice, wow, just wow," "You don't notice things, now I am sad too," Caleb said drinking from his beer, he finished the whole glass and got another, Rafael watched him drink more and more glasses, he couldn't even stop him so he joined. "That's why I don't want you to be stupid like me, don't let that lady go, you will regret it,"

Billionaire's Crazy Girl

Justin, his closest friend asked him. "Talk to us man. Is this about that weird guy?" Freddy also asked. "I'm done for. It's over for me." Caleb shook his head pacing up and down. "What? Why would you say that?" "That guy... He's Jared Holland. The CEO of the H & G group..." "Hold it. You mean, the same H & G group we all know? The biggest one in the country?" Freddy inquired. Caleb got mad, "Are you mocking me right now? Is there any other group like that?"

Rewinding My Reaper Boyfriend

Rewinding My Reaper Boyfriend

"Diagnosing me. Catering to me. It's unnerving." He walked to the table. He picked up the coffee. He sniffed it. It smelled perfect. It smelled exactly like the coffee from his favorite bodega in Brooklyn that closed two years ago. "Did you poison it?" Elion asked. "If I wanted to hurt you," Cale said, his voice dropping to a low rumble, "I wouldn't use poison. Poison is imprecise." "That is not reassuring, Cale." "It wasn't meant to be. Drink."

Blind Alpha And His Unwanted Mate

Blind Alpha And His Unwanted Mate

The mug stops right in front of me, the ceramic scraping faintly against the surface. I pick it up, curious. The mug feels cool against my fingers, condensation already forming at the sides. I take a sip. It’s sweet, cold, and tastes like vanilla mixed with nostalgia, like summer days I never really had. “Okay,” I say, pretending not to be impressed. “You have good taste.” Caleb raises an eyebrow, a small smirk tugging at his lips. “Of course I do.” He leans back, balancing his mug on his knee. “I add more ice cream than milk. Next time you make one for yourself, try that. It’s a no-fail method for an amazing vanilla shake.”

the alpha is supposed to be blind, it’s the whole premise of the book, yet the author constantly describes him as “seeing” people’s blood shot eyes, watching people walk away, looking at himself. it’s sloppy, bad writing. i don’t recommend the “sometimes not quite blind alpha”
Sirena Mares
Interesting characters. Interesting werewolf lore. I just hope the author never "cures" the blind alpha as he actually is mostly capable anyway. The FL goes through quite the character development, and that's putting it mildly. The quality of the narration and writing itself is publish-worthy.

May We Never Meet Again

May We Never Meet Again

Caleb said gently, his eyes fixed on hers. “Because of me?” she repeated, shocked. Her voice rose slightly. “What do you mean because of me?” He exhaled softly, then continued. “As the top graduate from Keystone University’s design program, you should know Batons Design Co. in Sydney, right?” Her breath caught. “Yes,” she said slowly. “Everyone knows them.” “Their CEO was my classmate,” Caleb continued. “When he found out you were coming to Sydney and that you were my junior, he asked me to recruit you.”

His Forced One

Chapter 6 THEY both go to the office, where Caleb walks to his cousin to bring the hot coffee for him. Caleb puts it on the table, and the chair turns in his direction. Jostein meticulously looks at it while smelling the vapor. “Ahhh… so relaxing, thank you.” He said to him, then takes a sip from the demitasse cup… “I like your espresso in the morning, cousin.” He complimented him when Caleb was seated in front of him.
