To my left, Caleb was lazily tracing the rim of his porcelain coffee cup with a slow, amused smirk, while Asher occupied the space directly across from me, his massive tattooed forearms resting heavily on the wood as he devoured a plate of steak and eggs.
"You're remarkably quiet this morning, Chief Financial Officer," Caleb purred, his brilliant eyes shifting to map the subtle, faint shadow of a bite mark he had left on my collarbone just hours ago.
