“That’s just too much for a one-night-stand,” I sighed. Right now, what I wanted most was to light a cigarette and smoke. I had never even considered smoking because Kaiser hated the smell of cigarettes. When I was with Jacques, we didn’t smoke because of Andrew. I smoked occasionally on the job when I recruited members, but not enough to retain any smell on my clothes, because of Kaiser.
“Can I have a smoke, Carson?” I asked, pointing towards the bulge in his pants that was lying on a chair in the room.
