The Mafia King’s Queen

The Mafia King’s Queen

I could almost see the scene in my mind, her sleeping peacefully, unaware that two ghosts from my past were aligning against us. Camillo’s phone buzzed again. He looked at the screen, smirked, and then muttered something that I didn’t catch, turning to walk out. I followed at a distance, my heart hammering. He got into the car and drove off. I tailed him through the city, careful, lights off, a few cars behind. By now the sun had risen fully, painting the streets gold and crimson, but all I could see was red. He turned into an industrial area I knew too well-the one near the abandoned mill. A perfect place to hide. A perfect place for a trap.

The Alpha's World Claimed Me

The Alpha's World Claimed Me

The sadness in her tone was heavy, matching the gloom of the ruins. I signaled the advance. If the outside looked neglected, the interior was a graveyard of memories. It was silent…..unnervingly so. How am I supposed to find the eldest woman in a ghost town? A heavy thud startled me. I spun around to see Novel sliding from Kitty’s back, hitting the dirt. I rushed to her side, my heart hammering against my ribs. I wanted to roar at the wolf, who at least had the grace to look guilty, but the sight of Novel’s pale, unconscious face silenced my anger.

The Lycan king's Forbidden Obssesion

The Lycan king's Forbidden Obssesion

"I have seen them trust, I have seen them hope, and I have seen them broken when the Lycans moved on to something new. You are not the first, Serena. And you will not be the last. The castle is full of ghosts, and most of them are human." She opened the door, and the cold air from the hallway rushed in, and I shivered. "You are wrong about him," I said. Camila paused, and her shoulders rose and fell with a deep breath. She stood there for a long moment, and I could see her reflection in the mirror, looking pale and ghostly. Then she turned her head, just enough that I could see her profile, the sharp line of her jaw and the grey in her hair. "I hope so," she said. "For your sake. I hope so."

Spirits of the Night

Spirits of the Night

The light illuminated the space, full of old objects and stacked boxes. As she walked, a loose floorboard creaked beneath her feet. She bent down to see what it was and, with some effort, lifted the board. She found an old book, covered in dust, with a leather cover filled with drawings of supernatural creatures. Scarlett’s heart began to race; something about the book drew her in, as if it held secrets waiting to be discovered.

ONCE A BETA, NOW A MAFIA

ONCE A BETA, NOW A MAFIA

As he flipped through the yellowed old pages, he sat down on the neatly made bed and began to read, curiosity etched on his features. Don Carianno’s writing was in beautiful cursive. It looked like he took his time to scribble, dotting all his i's and crossing his t's. He flipped through the first pages, there was an entry about a new shipment, but it didn’t make sense. He could not decipher the code words. He flipped through a few more pages, and that was when he saw an entry about him. It read: "Ghost, that’s what we’re going to name him. He’s, after all, a Ghost."

Whispers of the Dark

Whispers of the Dark

Centuries have passed and that girl, even when it's tough for me to concede, is probably dead. Thus, another girl, a grown-up lady is always appearing. This dilemma has been present for ever since year 2018 started, goddamn it! I paved my way through the Italian bar. The entrance was covered with beautiful and pink flowers with the neon letters La Fleur. You wouldn't expect that inside it was a bar full of monsters doing drugs, sex, and feeding on people. I saw a familiar man coming out of the counter and making his way to me. I grinned at him and nodded, letting my red pupil show – a way to greet your co-vampires. He did the same too.

A Ghost Cooked For Me

A Ghost Cooked For Me

A cold dread, sharper than the chill in the air, shot up from the soles of my feet. The patch of shadow in the corner began to writhe unnaturally, coalescing into a denser form. A human silhouette, darker than the darkness around it, slowly detached itself from the wall. It was tall and gaunt, its entire form wreathed in an impenetrable, smoky blackness. The air grew still and heavy, as if the room itself was holding its breath. Then, a voice, cold and utterly devoid of emotion, sounded not in my ears, but directly in my mind.

The Crazy Billionaire’s Mistress

Ghosts and Guns The storm had passed, but the terror it left behind clung to the mansion like the salt-heavy air. The island was supposed to be their sanctuary — Julian’s fortress against the world. Ghost of a Broken Home

Ghost of a Broken Home

She glared at Jennifer like a fierce little beast. Jennifer scoffed, amused by her defiance. She bent down and poked Nina’s forehead repeatedly. Caught off guard, Nina stumbled back, hitting her head against the iron gate with a loud thud. The noise caught Patrick’s attention from afar, and his heart clenched. "Who’s there?" Jennifer panicked and immediately covered Nina’s mouth. Forcing a smile, she called out, "Patrick, it’s nothing. Just a beggar knocking at the door. It’s cold outside. Take Johnny inside first!"

I mean Cara’s kidnapped, tortured, raped, violated and then is rescued and has a psychotic breakdown then is all of a sudden better and has sex with the phantom. I was assaulted not raped or anything and it took me a year to even start to mentally recover and trust new people

Finally, a really good book. Quite well written, great characters, awesome plot and a nice believable HEA ending. Strong female characters, shaped with respect, as it should be. Very well done, author, worth of my time, gems and money. This is how all mafia related books should be written. 5 stars.
