Can A Female Wolf Be An Alpha Novels & Stories

“About wolfless and how they reclaim their wolves. There’s a very old precedent. If a wolfless sheds the blood of the reigning female Alpha through combat, their wolf may return.” My stomach dropped. “That can’t be true.” “It is true, albeit very rare. Female Alphas are extremely rare, so the situation never comes up. Liora was the only female Alpha before; but now that the King has named you heir, Liora could theoretically challenge you and get her wolf back.”

And I had no doubt at what I saw. Slender and toned, size a bit smaller than my wolf, pure white fur with blue, blue eyes the color of the ocean, but definitely female. The white wolf was female. Even with so much distance separating us, I had noticed the power, the aura of an Alpha radiating off of it. "A Female Alpha?" I whispered to myself. It was unheard of. Alphas were always male. The females, who were privileged to be the Alpha's mate, were called Luna. Then how come a female became an Alpha?

“You did well.” She licked my arm. I felt like I needed to know Lizzy’s story before I could really determine how I felt about the situation. Yeah, I was damn glad to have found my mate. And the chance of her rejecting me was probably low since she’d picked me herself. But why had her wolf rejected her first mate? If her wolf wanted me, her wolf was an alpha, no questions asked. She couldn’t be anything else. But I’d never even heard of an alpha female rejecting her mate before. They were typically loving, and would usually provide for everyone else no matter what the personal cost was.

He asks me. "Oh... right. What kind of scent?" "Probably the same scent I smelled at the Diner." He declare. "That's huge. Can you tell if It's male or female?" "At the Diner I couldn't, but here I could. SHE peed." He laughs. "She?" I gasp "do you know any female wolf?" "Usually the only one is the Alpha's mate. Unless, someone scratch her, but the odds are slim." "Are you saying that I will be the ONLY female wolf?"

I can tell that he is nervous and worried about the wolf. "The next two best options are Alpha Phoenix Davis of the River City Pack and Alpha Mariana Silvers of the Blue Moon Pack." "Mariana," I raise my eyebrow in question. "A female alpha. I didn't realize that any packs allowed women to be Alphas." "There have always been female alphas," Jeffrey shakes his head. "Our society has just been too backward to recognize them. The best we let them become is a Luna. Which is a damn shame if you ask me." He looks at me fondly as he adds, "Powerful female alphas birth powerful alpha males. Most lunas are alphas. Your mother had the rank of Beta, which is higher than your father's, correct."

It was unusual for both alpha and beta to leave a pack, but he didn't care much because he wanted his beta by his side and they bring his Beta Logan's son, Delta Seth along with them in hopes of finding his mate there. "Well then... Let's begin the party..!!" Azara announced after the family greetings, looking at the bunch of impatient wolves who were waiting for the party to begin. • • • A / N Alpha Female - The female version of the Alpha; the Alpha's mate and equal to him. (But in reality Alpha Female's authority isn't equal to the Alpha.) Luna/Royal Luna/Queen Luna - Is like a queen/an empress and higher than any Alpha. It is a position only granted to the royal she-wolves; the adoptive

he added with a sly grin, "I think the pack could use a little excitement. Imagine our little sister being the first female Alpha." The Gravemaw Hounds, our pack, was known as one of the most powerful and largest werewolf packs in the country. However, like every other pack, it had its strengths and weaknesses. One major downside was the traditional belief that women werewolves should not hold any of the top three positions within the pack. I smiled at the thought, "First female Alpha," "But you know it's not going to be easy," Dermon stated, bringing me back to reality. "The Elders are firm in their beliefs. They're resistant to change, especially one as profound as this."

"There is one who can. The female Alpha." My heart plummeted, pounding against my rib cage. A female Alpha? My eyes shifted to Max and then back to her. “Female Alphas don’t exist in our world,” I said as a matter of fact. She chuckled slightly. “Everyone knows about the mythical female Alpha who ruled the southern wolf county with an iron fist. They said she wielded magic unlike anything seen before. How come you haven’t heard about her?” She raised a quizzical brow.

Maybe it was time for women to have positions in power. Do you know there has never been a woman in the alpha position? Even if she was born to alpha parents and was the only child. The title of Alpha wouldn’t be given to her. It’s tradition in all packs that in such a situation, they’ll wait for the woman to find her mate, and when they mated and marked each other, the title of Alpha would be given to her mate instead of her. I find it ironic that wolves don’t give women positions of power and yet they worship Selene, who is infact a WOMAN. It's completely insane. You'd think that women would be the ones leading.
