Astrid's POV: My wolf moved swiftly through the dense forest with powerful legs propelling it forward with ease. The sound of her paws hitting the soft ground echoed through the woods. Amid chaos and turmoil, the golden bright light dissipated, revealing the majestic figure of Skylark Bluedawn in her wolf form. She looks relieved at my suggestion and quickly walks around the tree. I am less reserved and simply strip off and shift into my blonde wolf. My wolf is big, not as big as Matt’s but comparable. We were a great team in a fight and often were the largest wolves around. As Rosie’s wolf tentatively stepped out, I was blown away by her beauty. She was also a blonde wolf. It was rare to see a female blonde wolf. To see her in that form, indicated she was strong. She was larger than the average female wolf. Surprising given the abuse she withstood growing up.

The pitch of the entire crowd’s muttering drops an octave. The males gathered closest to us part, revealing a phalanx of females led by a black she-wolf, a gray-haired female in her skin, and another female, maybe in her late thirties or early forties, who is somehow both furry and all woman at the same time. She looks like the NSFW character art that Kennedy downloads on her phone—so much butt and boobs and hips. My wolf draws herself up. She cowered like a pup in front of the males, but for some reason, she doesn’t want to show these females her neck. She’s trembling visibly, but she’s holding her head high.

The wolf was female. And she was gorgeous. Her fur was a neat shade of brown with fine streaks of white in a few places. The tip of her tail was white and her eyes were a striking shade of dark brown, almost black, with flecks of gold. She was just standing uprightly and looking at me but somehow she seemed to be doing it valiantly.

As Jenna and Logan celebrated their victory, they suddenly heard a loud roar coming from the forest. They looked up and saw a huge, black wolf standing at the edge of the clearing. The wolf's eyes glowed yellow, and it snarled at Jenna and Logan. Jenna felt her heart skip a beat. She knew that this was no ordinary wolf—it was an Alpha werewolf, and it was here for revenge.
